No PB but still a local SB 🤣. That I’ll gladly take it given my current fitness level & celebrate the small wins! It seems not too long ago where I did my 1st weekend run after a hiatus from injury with @swashed @lucusisyourtype @danfantheman, whereby I couldn’t keep up after just a few km in, ended my planned shorter distance run to head home first, before I took bus to rejoin them for gym. This journey to rebuild the fitness level is such a long one, a huge test of my patience. I grew to appreciate how being able to run injury/pain free & complete a run is such a blessing & privilege we sometimes take for granted. Relieved to say today’s run was completed safely! So glad to soak up the race atmosphere, reconnect with my run buddies along the way! @xlbjame caught up & we ran for a few hundred metres before my pace grew slower 😅. So amazed at how strong his 1st HM is! My pace slowed down to 6+min/km, & I did wondered if a sub2 was still possible. Happy to say I found my last wind from the amazing energy & vibe from the cheer zones by @fastandfree.re & @thehighpanterssg. Thank you for brightening our race, boosting our morale & keeping our spirits high 🙌🏻. Congrats to all runners for completing today’s race, PB or not.
