クラッシュの次は、カウベルの改造。 １つは切断した大小のアゴゴを両横に溶接、スプリングは1本のタイプ ◽️スプリングカウベル(S1A2) もう１つはアゴゴの大の方のみ溶接し、スプリングを2本取り付けたタイプ。動画を見ていただくとわかるように、スプリングの引っ張り長さで音程が違います。 ◽️スプリングカウベル(S2A1) カウベルがなかなか手に入らず、ザキさんに相談してから結構日にちが経ってしまいましたが、クラッシュ5個、改造カウベル2個を持って、島村楽器アミュプラザ博多店にて初打ち合わせ。 店長の長藤さんがドラマーという幸運にも恵まれて、かなり興味を持っていただくことが出来ました。 色々と話し合った結果、有り難いことに最初は委託販売という形で、店頭に置いてもらうことになりました。 その後の打ち合わせで、今後の製作計画もある程度決めた中で、目下の課題はカウベルの確保。これが非常に難しい。 色々と細工するので、出来るだけ大きいサイズのカウベルを探してて、6インチまではすぐ見つかっても、それ以上となると極端に数が減ってしまい、サウンドハウス、ヤフオク、メルカリ、楽天、Amazonなどで探すのが日課となっています。 ちょうどこの頃、長崎に帰って来ていた淳さんと酒を酌み交わしながら、色々話してる時に、なかなかデカいカウベルが見つからないということも伝えたのですが、敦さんからは、もういっそのことカウベルから作ってしまえばどうだろう？という返答があって、またそれもどうするか悩んでいました。これまでに溶接した感じでは、素材は普通の鉄のような気がするのですが、果たして通常の業務で使っている鉄板を曲げて溶接して、販売されてるカウベルみたいな音が出るのかどうか。こればっかりはやはりやってみないとわからないので、今度作ってみようと、文章を書いてる今決めました。 夜が更け、酒が進むにつれて、話は改造カウベルから、改造バスドラ及び改造ドラムセットまで進んでいきましたが、これはまだ手ェつけてないので、ある程度出来上がりましたら、また投稿します。 #ドラム #ドラマー #パーカッション #カウベル #drum #drums #drumset #percussion #percussionist #島村楽器 #世界のザキ #松下敦 #zazenboys #buffalodaughter
