Highlights Cody playing with his son, Mama's Song with his mom, first live performance of I can't complain and his Hank Jr cover of All My Rowdy Friends Have Settled Down, crowd sing a long with Must be the Whiskey and Cast No Stones. It was worth the torture of thinking we were never going to get out of Dallas after the show. It might also be worth the $30 i paid for one drink and a water. Now Cody has too many songs and there's no way he could play them all but still a solid two hours. I do want to hear What You Love at his next show. I was so glad to get to know Eric, Michael, and Noel. Noel hadn’t played the Golden Horseshoe in a while but he was a regular for a good period of time. Feeling nostalgic. Saw a fun and lively show at @lyricartsanoka this past weekend with family. I’ve been attending performances my entire life, first watching my grandpa perform in “H.M.S. Pinafore” at age 3. Music was his life; he sang in choirs for 75 years! I’m so proud that his legacy lives on, and it inspired the name of my marketing company @HPZmarketing.
