Het project: Mijn tante is een non en woont in het klooster. Ik kom hier al vanaf kleins af aan op bezoek en ben altijd nieuwsgierig geweest hoe de zusters leven. Hoe leven de nonnen anno 2020? Een tijd waarin het bruist van technologische ontwikkelingen, de wereld steeds moderner wordt en het geloof in god langzaam afneemt. Hoe gaat dit verder in de toekomst? Být čarodějkou v dnešní době je na jednu stranu jednoduché a na druhou stranu dosti obtížné. 🤔 K té jednoduchosti: Žijeme v době, kde je velká svoboda názorů a i když přetrvávají jedinci, co mají tendenci stále kecat do života druhých, ve finále je úplně jedno, jestli jste křesťan, buddhista, žid nebo věříte ve všemohoucí kyblík. A ano, i takové lidi znám. Projevit se můžete všemi možnými směry a jste omezení pouze svou představivostí nebo lidmi, kterými se případně obklopujete. Obtížnou stránkou téhle svobody je způsob, jakým cca 90% populace žije. Stát, byrokracie, korporáty i firmy po nás chtějí využívat co nejvíc našeho času, financí i energie, takže jednoduše sklouzneme do rutiny domov -> práce -> nákup -> domů, občas se někde narve úřadování a pro spoustu lidí i péče o děti nebo členy rodiny. Ač si to nechceme připustit, dnešní doba je velmi chaotická. To se projevuje i do našeho žití a je jedno, jestli žijete na vesnici, ve městě nebo na samotě. Určitě jste už někdy měli pocit, že proč nemůže být týden delší, aby jste toho stíhali víc nebo proč má den pouze 24 hodin. Ale k v chaosu se dá najít "řád" a "systém", se kterým můžete pracovat, ať už z hlediska kreativního vyjádření, koníčků, zájmů nebo v mém případě čarodějnictví. Tímto Vás chci přivítat na svém účtu Deník Šedé čarodějky, kde s Vámi ráda budu sdílet mnoho odvětví mého chaotického života. Podělím se s Vámi o pohled do mé vlastní netradiční čarodějnické praxe, kterou jsem si zformulovala k obrazu svému (hlavně z důvodu ADHD, kdy fakt nevydržím dělat zdlouhavé rituály, meditace a další časově náročné kratochvíle, kterými se moje kolegyně běžně ubírají (velký respekt!)), dále pak o mou vlastní tvorbu z rukodělných činností, do kterých čarodějnictví ráda prolínám, pohledy a feedy z YA fantasy knížky, na které pracuji už pár let a také digital arty, ať už s knížkou spojené ilustrace nebo samostatné výtvory, které si zrovna usmyslím. Je to dost rozsáhlé, já vím, hodně účtů se zaměřuje buď na jednu nebo dvě věci. Above the city of Guimaraes is the 12th century monastery of San Marinha. The origin of this monastery is intertwined with the early days of Portugal as a nation. It was built in the 12th century in fulfillment of a promise. Dona Mafalda, the wife of the first king of Portugal, vowed to fund the construction of a monastery for the order of Saint Augustine if she gave birth without complications. The monastery was named after the patron saint of expectant mothers, Santa Marinha. In the 16th century, the monastery was transferred to the order of Saint Jerome. The monks offered university degrees in the arts and the humanities that attracted students from the royalty and nobility. It was during this time that the chapter room, the place where monks read chapters of the bible, and the famous Saint Jerome terrace, an outdoors meditation space, were built. In 1834, when the state abolished the religious orders, the monastery was sold and became a private residence. In the 1950s, a fire destroyed part of the building and turned it into a ruin. In the 1970s, the Portuguese government bought the monastery and hired architect Fernando Távora to convert it into an historical hotel. The gardens are very spiritual. A series of steps, in 12’s, 10’a and 7’s lead the visitor up to a terrace with a central circular pool . The sound of flowing water is omnipresent. The stillness and calm sharply contrast with the bustling modern city below. A memorable visit.
