‼️ Same photo, different edits 🤯 I can honestly say my attention to detail has increased tremendously compared to the beginning. I had Led lights in my room at the time and thought to myself let’s try this out with my microphone for ambiance. I thought it could give studio booth vibes. 🎧 So, when I thought about a music studio, they have different lighting and equipment etc which made me feel like it could be a mini concert 😍 At that moment I didn’t know how to use Photoshop and only learned basics in Lightroom and I felt like wow this is cool! I’ve always loved the blue color but I didn’t mask and go in more detail before. I saw that I didn’t even touch the Color panel as much as I would now which is highly important in mixed lighting! 😬 As of now, I decided to go back in Lightroom and look through photos I’ve taken and edited from the beginning of this photography journey and retouch EVERYTHING in this photo I’ve chosen to present to you all today. Now I’m like, I really thought that first photo was so cool? Naaahh 🤣 I’m glad I can look back and view my improvement and laugh about it. Not only laugh, but learn that you should never settle and continue to get better everyday. Jingjing 🧡 This photo was captured in PHOT 314 class while trying to emulate a lighting strategy of a photo found on Pinterest (which I cannot for the life of me find who the photographer of it was to credit so plz tag if you know! 🥲) so the foundational ideation of this photograph was not my own (though we played with different posing, model + clothing choices, camera settings, etc. than the original)! So fun to learn and add to the skill set through this process! I look forward to utilizing the knowledge learned for future ideation of my own.
