She was trapped in abuse Not by intention but by some instance It was one of those that she could never forget Going through it was her regret She felt the trauma She felt the anguish She went through all the pain Her life was like a sky Full of dark grey clouds But there was obvious absence of rain It was kinda insane Why her? One of my goals this year is to have healthy teeth. 🦷 I am not a big fan of ambiguous goals such as “have healthy teeth”... neither am I dentist. So I had to make the strategies the metrics. Meaning: • if I floss almost every day (an improvement from zero days), my teeth will become healthier • if I invest in good toothpaste, my teeth will become healthier •if I brush the recommended two minutes instead of _______, then, healthy teeth If I can stick to the strategies, I can safely-ish assume my teeth are healthy. I’ve used a manual toothbrush all of my life. Like the $3 ones from Target. $3 for 2 in a pack to be exact. So, at my dentist’s persistence, I invested in a fancy power toothbrush. It’s the Oral B Genius 7000 — not the latest and newest, but #2 ranked in power toothbrushes on #Amazon and has more than enough features. You can change the settings to daily clean (2 minute timer), whitening, tongue cleaner, massage (🙄), and deep clean. Plus there’s an app. AND... it grades you on how well you brush your teeth each time. 😱 I haven’t used it yet, so I’m not going to start giving accolades until I’ve used it and traveled with it. The #1 power brush on Amazon was only $44 and has EXCELLENT reviews. If your main goal is upgrading, then that toothbrush will be perf. This Genius set me back $115. I bought it because I like metrics and the instant grade/feedback keeps me motivated. So really this brush is for all all the #melancholies out there and fellow #intj.
