Even though we’ve seen some sunshine this week, we have unfortunately encountered rain at some point each day as well. High pressure has been stuck out to the West, drawing in cold winds and showers around it from the north with a few weather fronts in the mix as well. Such a pain! We should finally have a dry day today, but the cloud is expected to increase later. ▪️Saturday: Cold and sunny to start this morning after a clear night. The April sunshine will lift temperatures quickly and in light winds, it should eventually feel pleasant before the morning ends. The Pennines will block out patchy cloud for a time, but early in the afternoon, the cloud will have more success at spilling in. As a result, many areas will go on to experience a cloudy afternoon.
