×××Zamioculca Zamiifolia & Zamioculca zamiifolia "Raven" ××× Auf den ersten beiden Bildern habe ich die normale "Zz" - Plant & auf den lezten beiden ist es die Art "Raven". Beides wunderschöne Planzen und eine meiner Lieblings Arten !! Was man hier sehr gut sieht ist der Unterschied des Wachstums. Bei ser ersten ZZ sieht man wie lange sich der Nachwuchs streckt und bei der anderen ist der Nachwuchs etwas weniger & vorallem aber langsamer. Dass liegt am Standort. Die eine steht in gutem indirektem Licht im Wohnzimmer, während die Raven im dunkleren Schlafzimmer in der Ecke steht wo nicht so viel Licht hinkommt. Daher der große Unterschied beim Wachstum. Beide Pflanzen haben zur selben Zeit neue Triebe bekommen, doch da der Standort so unterschiedlich ist, sieht man bei der Raven eben ganz gut wie viel langsamer und weniger Nachwuchs sie hat. Allerdings tut dass der Pflanze kein bisschen was !! Sie wächst eben nur etwas langsamer und weniger dass ist alles. Hoya carnosa (outer variegated) Diese sehr ansprechende Form der Hoya carnosa habe ich vor zwei Jahren als kleinen Stecki bekommen. Nach einem Jahr Wurzeln bauen begann dann das "Geranke" - wegen "zu schnell" und "wenig Zeit" erst mal wild durchs Fenster (was beim Abnehmen eine echte Challenge wurde 🤣 ), wo auch die erste Blüte stattfand. Vor kurzem dann endlich mal umgetopft, und prompt die zweite Blüte. Die Blütenform ist typisch carnosa, die einzelnen Blütenstiele sind jedoch länger und die Farbe ist ein richtig schönes helles Barbiepink. Two years ago i got this lady as a small cutting which rooted for about one years. Last years very suddenly she started to shoot vines - which meandered in my bay window since i lacked time. Last month i repotted and trellised her - and she instantly pushed the second inflorescence. Misting is a great way to increase humidity for your Monstera. It’s easy and can be done in just a few minutes each day. When you mist your plant, make sure the water droplets are small enough so that they don’t damage the leaves. A continuous spray water bottle gives the best results for this method, as the droplets are tiny and continuous. Just a light spray is needed to give your Monstera the humidity it needs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The best time to mist is early in the morning when the air is cooler because this will allow more moisture to stay on the leaves. Avoid watering your Monstera at night as it can cause fungal growth on its leaves. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Mist your plant once or twice a day depending on how dry your home environment is. Misting too much may lead to overwatering, which can cause root rot and other issues. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’re using tap water, let it sit overnight before misting as this will help remove any chlorine or fluoride that may harm your plant. Alternatively, use distilled water instead of tap water for misting. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Misting helps mimic natural conditions for Monsteras by providing them with extra moisture in between watering sessions. Notching fiddle leaf fig trees is the act of deliberately cutting or wounding the trunk of a tree to encourage it to branch out at that spot. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Basically, when a tree is wounded near a node, it will disrupt the flow of the sap. The sap contains hormones that can either promote or inhibit growth. If you’re lucky, notching fiddle leaf fig tress will encourage the plant to direct energy and resources to the dormant leaf buds in that spot, which will result in the growth of a new branch about 30-50% of the time.
