Get a head start on Father’s Day weekend and join us for this exciting race day. Competitor Check In starts at 12:30pm, races start promptly at 2pm. Climb up into the attic and dust off your old pinewood car or come on down and show off your 7th grade wood shop skills…either way, join us for a good old-fashioned derby race where local craft beer lovers will compete for trophies, and the greatest prize of all…bragging rights! Purchase your car kit online or at your local hobby shop. Not a racer? Come on down anyway – no ticket required! Come cheer on your friends with a beer in your hand. This past Sunday we celebrated our 4th Annual St. Baldrick’s Day here at the brewery. Together with all of the incredible shavees & donors, we raised over $22,000 to help #ConquerKidsCancer !!! This weekend we got a head start on celebrating our favorite holiday of the year, Sƚ. Pαƚɾιƈƙ’ʂ Dαყ☘️ Thanks to everyone that got your green on & came out to party with us! The Kilkenny Basterds killed it again and kept us all singing along with some great Irish music and classic tunes. The Mulvihill Lynch Irish step dancers were as incredible as always to watch and we had so much fun having the Inis Fada Pipe & Drum Band in the house! What an insanely fun day we had yesterday for our annual PintWood Derby!! After having to cancel the races last year, we were just hoping to get a few of our regular racers back but we ended up with a tent full of great racers new & old! There were approximately 70 cars that raced between the 5oz. and Outlaw classes and the creativity we saw that went into each car was amazing! Thank you to everyone that joined us and had patience as we got back into the very intricate process of racing pine wood cars, keeping them timed right, and all of their pieces together! Lol. Well, yesterday 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆!! Even in the heavy downpour we still had a bunch of great people come out to help us celebrate our 3rd Annual St. Baldrick’s Day event. 13 incredible shavees signed up to go under the buzzer & #BraveTheShave to raise money for children’s cancer research. It was an incredibly emotional day as we watched families & friends cheer them on. There were so many incredible stories to be shared, shavees getting involved to honor friends & families that have passed from cancer, shavees that traveled hours just to participate, tons of recognition for those that have been shaving anywhere from 3 up to 10 yrs! A beautiful woman that shaved off hair she had been growing for years, and a shavee that is currently battling cancer himself. Your support of this event means everything to us and to them as well, so thank you to all of the donors that helped with monetary donations as well as the businesses that donated fantastic items for our raffle. We also couldn’t do this without the amazing team from @rockabillybarberseast !! We’re proud to tell you all that our total raised as of today for 2021 is $16,324!!!!!!!!!! Just wanted to take some time today to thank all of our awesome Shavees that participated in our 2nd annual St. Baldrick’s Day event. As of this morning our grand total has hit $17,070 raised for children’s cancer research & we couldn’t be more proud!! Just hitting our goal of $15,000 was an incredible moment, but to surpass it even with everything going on is nothing short of a sign that we’re surrounded by the best people. Hosting this event virtually was definitely a new experience and we thank everyone that watched along, sent notes of encouragement, and of course everyone that made donations!!
