Who doesn’t love a little science? 🧪 I hated physics in high school. Well, in college too for that matter. 😆 But I digress… One thing I remember though? An object in motion stays in motion. 🏃🏻♀️ and believe it or not, this applies to the body too. Exercise doesn’t have to be crazy. You don’t always have to put in 2 hour gym sessions with new PRs. ❌ Even when you don’t feel like it, show up anyways - even if that means you walk on the treadmill for 10 minutes and go home. Because sometimes, SOME TIMES, you’ll start moving and you’ll end up finishing your workout anyways 💪🏻🏋🏻♀️ Just start. Just show up consistently and watch it change your life. It’s the #1 most affordable + effective thing to help mental and physical health. 💪🏻 I promise, that consistency will compound. Here’s a few of my favorite ideas: go for a walk with the family or your dogs, go hiking, go for a run, join a KRM workout from home… just figure out a routine that works for you. The single most rewarding part of my health journey has NOTHING to do with weight loss. 🤷🏻♀️ Jen has taught me a lot in my two+ years with her. She has pushed me further than I ever could’ve imagined going on my own — which is reason #812 why I suggest investing in a personal trainer, but that’s a soapbox for another day 😆 🧼 When I first began, I couldn’t imagine being where I am now. All I wanted was to make it 6️⃣ months before giving up. Considering I never made it more than 1 month on my own, this was a pretty hard goal for me. 🏋🏻♀️ Working out 2-3x a week every week? That was damn hard. But as time went on, showing up for myself became a lot easier. And I began to realize that (much to my surprise) I was capable of doing hard things. 💪🏻 Seeing myself do hard things (like working out consistently) changed the way I thought about my ability to complete ANY hard thing before me. 🙌🏻 I’ve missed out on so many opportunities simply because I didn’t think my body was able. In addition to changing my body composition, working out with Jen helped changed my mindset too. 🧠 I went from thinking “I might be able to…” to knowing “I can definitely….” And that changed my life forever. ❤️ And it can for you too, friend.
