Below is the signal path for the individual sound sources: - Mutable Instruments Plaits, @qubitelectronix Nautilus - Qu-Bit Surface/Qu-Bit Aurora - @makenoisemusic STO/ Make Noise QPAS/Qu-Bit Mojave - @instruomodular Arbhar (sample from Moog Mother 32) - @squarpinstruments Instruments Rample/Noise Engineering Lacrima Versio The summed audio was passed through the Qu-Bit Data Bender and Noise Engineering Librae Legio before recording to the 1010Music Bluebox. For the visuals, the frequency of a shape is modulated by an envelope that triggers at the same time as the main delayed melody. Now isn’t that something! 😱 A historical one of a kind brass panelled version of the Oct Tōne🤩 We all know The designer (Jason H.J Lim) @instruomodular has a thing for black and gold aesthetics! But originally the first Instruō modules were much more gold than black. In the early days all the faceplates were machined and engraved in-house on a DIY built CNC machine. Very noisy and messy stuff! The production process has come a long way since those days. There are a few of his early designs still out in the wild dawning this look and it’s a rather fetching look at that!
