One of the heavier pulls of Adam’s digging career, a super obscure cover of the #neddoheny classic tune ‘Get It Up For Love.’ Swipe for a clip. This is more rare than it is great imo but still a cool 45. Adam knew the tune when he found it because he also had a really nice copy of the Ned Doheny lp. Swipe for the second clip. Interesting fact about Ned Doheny is that he comes from a super rich family. His great grandfather #edwarddoheny was an oil tycoon and the inspiration for Daniel Day Lewis’ character in ‘There Will Be Blood’ (I drink your milkshake!). His grandfather, the kid in the movie (also named Ned Doheny) died in a murder suicide still shrouded in mystery. My favorite version of this tune though (the last clip) comes from my record collection. #bigkrit is probably my favorite rap artist (producer and rapper)of recent years. He carries the tradition of Outkast, UGK, 8Ball and MJG etc. I buy hardly any rap vinyl but bought this. @bigsant kills it too.
