This long week I spent with beings from 5 different States who had come to Hawaii to join me for the Embodied Expansion Retreat has me landed back in the world of Magic and Awe. Awe at the willingness of each participant to open up to the wholeness of the experience; to embrace each other as Ohana, Tribe, Family, Scar Clan, to reveal the depth of their vulnerability, to trust me with their hearts, and to co-create a journey of Love, Trust and Healing. We shared stories and snot, laughter and wisdom, good food and love of the Aina ( the land body and spirit of the island ). And truly, Love was the glue. My nervous system is completely reset. And I was a wreck when we started. Exhausted by the crazy 7 moves of December and the production and promotion of all the logistics to make this adventure happen, to bring the beings that needed my medicine at this time around me, in this container. But as soon as we all gathered and I witnessed the ease with which this eclectic group bonded together, my nervous system started to unwind, and off we went, sailing towards Freedom and Embodied Presence. Soft strength was my mantra for my teaching style this time. I feel it anchored in me deeply. Grace and Magic are how I start this new chapter as I ground now into my new home in North Kohala and design the next steps for my teaching ( The Book people!! ) and plant the seeds of the Temple School of Restorative Arts. As we reintegrate our lives, each in a different location and possibly, life cycle, I trust that to be able to let go of the outer World for a week did all of us incredible good. After some integration, we can face these extreme times with more peace, commitment and renewed strength. I know I am. So much Love!! Our pure intentions need to be expressed but when meeting judgement, assumptions, and emotional bullying we often shut down before taking the time to explain ourselves. That's the scene in the movies, when you wanna scream: " just tell her/him how you felt! Nooo, don't walk away now! Speak your truth, reveal yourself, explain where you came from, share your intentions!! " But more than often, we shut down. The adult part of ourselves takes a defensive " whatever!! " position, the heart contracts and the gate of the fortress falls with a loud slam and a feeling of righteousness as we learned to do so often in our youth, to protect ourselves against abuse and violation. There! Safe now! But what happens after that? For the most part we created a wall against what we wanted the most: Connection. And that wall is going to be hard to break down. We might even have lost the love of our life, or access to a dream we worked hard to create. I suggest that we coax our adult self to slow down, and take the time to share the depth of our pure intentions, for the sake of truth, assertiveness and connection... That we stand for the little one inside in a mature and empowered way. That's when our vulnerability becomes our strength! It open the gate back to the flow of compassion for ourselves, for the " other ", and to reconciliation. Now what if we are not able to fully access our intentions? That's when we need to dig deeper; when we need to find a way to circle around back to ourselves, to assess our fear level and to own our need for control and safety. More on that in DEEP DIVE... Everything is Still possible... is the state I woke up in, after a couple of postpartum depression kinda mood days. Maybe giving too much to my work and community, not enough me time, our world situation and this new cycle of my life ( the second part of my century 🤪 )... My own grief at my departed Beloveds, the lack of communication with my Soul Family from California, an overall feeling of Blah hit this week. Perhaps truly a postpartum from birthing the return of Christ consciousness 😂 as mused my dear @gracing.liquid.crystalline Who exactly knows... But this morning I finally touched back that sense of everything is possible that I had when I danced on that hill above Fairfax 20 years ago...welcoming the rain into our photo shoot, trusting that something sacred, creative, magical, and fun was about to happen ✨
Simple rituals can be the most healing. ✨💜 It's been such an honor to be holding space for yet another group of Heart Warrioresses this month! I'm celebrating our first Sacred Grief to Sacred Gift Zoom Ritual today as part of the 3-week course. I was assisted by a beautiful sister friend who channels deep ancient songs. With the proper technology and preparation we were able to recreate the magic of a live ritual. The magic and the healing. The river of Grief keeps running and with its movement the grievers finds their hearts lighter. The isolation dissolve. The parts of ourselves we have disowned get to be reclaimed... Simple rituals have power. I feel fortunate to have been taught and to be able to share in this way...🙏💜🙏 Happy Solstice Beloveds ✨

Ok, maybe I'm not as hot and fresh looking as when I was in my 20's and 30's but geez! I'm so much easier to deal with!! My wounded inner child has grown up to a wise and sparky young adult and lives in peace with the wise elder that occupy the other side of my heart ; ) That's the BIG stuff...what I call the Core of the Octopus has healed...mended...SO MUCH! The small victories now are around stress, anxiety, overload... I celebrate these also... My relationship with Source has become a sweet tango, a pas-de-deux... I live between psychology and magic Mindfulness and ritual Practice and surrender I used to joke that in my spiritual path I re-created the back-and-forth between mom and dad, the Deep feminine and the disciplined Sacred masculine. Though, curiously, my father was way more lenient in his upbringing and expressive in his emotions and my mother very disciplined and rarely open to flow! But that’s another story 😉 I still find it fascinating, how deeply our childhood imprint on our personalities and choices… as I decide once again to go deeper into my studies and signing up to continue my NARM ( Neuro Affective Relational Model ) training to the next level, I was also just reminded of the deep power of ceremony and Magic during our beautiful event of this past weekend ♥️🙏✨🌹 One feed the other... They marry beautifully. ✨ What do you navigate between in your life? Do you see a pattern? ♥️
When we are able to trust the medicine of Grief and Anger, and open our instrument to its release, we become free and authentic. Once aligned in that unobstructed way, beyond the strategies that keep us safe and at times unable to reach true peace, love and aliveness, we can reach full clarity of purpose ( Sacred Play ). To have a sacred container for our collective Grief and its other form of Sacred Rage is a rare opportunity. It’s essential that as a tribe and a humanity we become quickly familiar and comfortable with the power of grieving and the many faces of Loss. I woke up with a bit of anxiety in my solar plexus this morning... Thank goodness I was able to access the remedy! Ocean Ma, and time to reflect on all the changes that have been initiated within and without since the high of Summer. When I acknowledge what is closing, shifting or lost, even if what is coming in its place is of a tremendous upgrade in nature or even a dream come true, I honor the depths of the cycles of Life. I empower my human! In doing so I make even more room for the divine within me. The me that knows what never changes, and supports me to live from that place of True Nature often, and effortlessly ♥️🙏

It allowed me to stay longer & also gave me much needed rest & rejuvenation. I am fully recovered. My immune system is strong. This is why I have an immune system, to kick out the virus like this. I do believe that the fear of the virus (and this goes for cancer too) is more powerful than the virus. Yes, I am challenging the status quo with my beliefs. This is the Spiral Dance - Samhain with the Reclaiming Community - 2015 ✨ My first Spiral Dance must have been in 1989 at Fort Mason in San Francisco. It blew my mind... The level of artistry and connection such a large group of wild beings could create together...And years after years, the level of protection and sacred space building grew with the numbers of attendance... We pay attention to the High Priestess and the dancers, but so much goes into the altars building and the silent ones holding the field of the cauldron 🙏 My life was changed forever... With that community I understood that I was a trauma survivor and that my healing path was through Reclaiming my body as the body of the Earth ♥️🌍 ♥️
