Classic California Summer I can't quite put my finger on why, for some reason, summer = vintage. The season evokes memories of hearing that one bird chirp when you sleep in late, how a sandwich tastes even more delicious when you've been in the pool all day, and how nights would seem like they would last forever. Maybe it's because I don't really want to work this hot afternoon, but could you help a brother out and drop a classic summer memory below? Had a fun time at the photography meetup hosted by @_aboogslife_ and @parkhoppingduo ! For the first time, we had a #May4thPhotoChallenge consisting of plenty of elements found in Batuu. It was a bit challenging because for me, it was trying to find different ways of shooting familiar subjects. Here's my favorite ones that I captured that evening. The #Disneyland Theme Park Historic District was formally proposed as part of the Cultural Resources section of the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the recently approved DisneylandForward project. The EIR identified three structures, each of which represents a decade in the development of the park: Main Street Railroad Depot (from the opening in 1955), Pirates of the Caribbean (the first phase of renovation and expansion in the 1960s) and the Hungry Bear Restaurant (the second phase of renovation and expansion in the 1970s). All three structures are eligible for listing on the #NationalRegisterofHistoricPlaces which places them on the California Register. "Part of the journey is the end..." Tony Stark 5 years ago today, Avengers: Endgame was released, and as a life-long comic book fan, it was something I never thought possible. A series of movies connecting into one story over the course of 11 years. And it nailed the landing. I still remember the cheers at the big moments, the quiet mourning at the losses, and the exhilaration at the end that comes from a story well told. It's rare to know you're experiencing a pop culture touchstone as it's happening, but this was it. Better together. Pixar Fest was starting to take shape this weekend at Disneyland, and nearly everything looked great! The colorful bunting and medallions framed Main Street so well, while the centerpiece icon is gorgeous in the sunlight. We ordered the Scream Canister which is Bacardi Reservation Ocho Rum, Cream of Coconut, pineapple juice, orange juice, and a mist of Angostura Bitters!
