The Marigold Bridge (Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante) The cinnamon is not very apparent in this dish. In fact without reading the description I wouldn’t not have guessed that it was anything other than a standard cupcake with cream cheese frosting and some sprinkles. It’s fine, and the cake is moist, it just has a baked in a central kitchen and refrigerated for hours before being served taste to it. One of the new seasonal items is the Blue Raspberry Lemonade at Smokejumper’s, and I did…..not like it. I didn’t even finish it - too sweet and mostly tasted like strong lemonade rather than any other flavor. Parade Dining (Sonoma Terrace) A large assortment of items, but really only one standout. The bundt cake is a dulce de leche flavoured cake that really stood apart from the rather lack luster dessert items. It was wonderfully aromatic with the carmalized flavor, and while maybe a tad too sweet, was the most enjoyable item on the plate. What we ate at Disneyland, in order of best to worst! . . 1. Pixar pier parfait from the adorable snowman stand in DCA- lemony blue raspberry goodness (perfect for a hot day 😋) 2. Caramel apple, which is the BEST Disneyland treat 3. Firetown mac n cheese bites from troubadour tavern - fantastic flavor with the perfect amount of spice (no sauce needed don’t spend your money on it lol) 4. Bbq potato dog from the refreshment corner on Main Street- holy hell this was worth every penny and packed with protein 5. Jolly holiday combo from the jolly holiday cafe - a park staple and bonus points for pulling out my daughter’s loose tooth 🤭🦷 (there’s a vlog posted if you wanna check it out 🥰) 6. Racing radial cake from Flos V8 cafe- chocolate heaven 7. Strawberry dippers from south sea traders - tbh they were meh but Scarlett would kill me for putting these any lower because she LOVED THEM (and it’s a good picture so spot number 7 it is) 8. Frozen strawberry lemonade from the churro stand next to hungry bear cafe in critter country - v refreshing 😋 9. Ronto wrap from Ronto roasters- you have to try it at least once! The shredded chicken is just too dry for me 10. Pesto chicken hand pie - I love pesto so this was good! It would be even better with some flaky salt 😬 11. Churro funnel cake from hungry bear - massive, must share with a minimum of 3 people 12. Guide and Luigi’s cone - not a fan. Just get the regular Mac n cheese cone, I said what I said 13. Scoop of pistachio ice cream dipped in green chocolate, garnished with a candy eye and horns. . I really didn’t care for the green chocolate I just wanted to get to the ice cream. It took a minute to as you have to get thru the green chocolate layer. Once you get to the pistachio ice cream it is worth it. It’s real pistachio, you do get a lot in the whole cone so it’s def worth it. Would I get it again? Kālua-style Pork Nacho Poutine (Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar) Really great dish, we got ours with regular fries instead of sweet potato fries on the recommendation by our server. All the flavors work really well together from the rich and fatty kalua pork, paired with the gravy, cheese, and aioli, with the pickled red onion to cut through the richness. It’s been chilly at Disneyland the past couple of days and I wanted a warm and cozy spot for dinner last night. 🔥Hearthstone Lounge at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort fit the bill, but it was super busy and I ended up on the patio. April 26-Aug 4 This is a Luca inspired sandwich with ham, salami, Pepperoni, provolone, Lettuce, tomato, pickled onion, pepperconcini and Italan dressing in an Italian roll. Comes with house made chips! Found at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. $14.99 This sandwich has so many chopped pieces of meat and fresh vegetables. I felt like I fell into a fresh garden. This is not your typical salami sandwich. It is gourmet Italian sandwich. I love the sauce and all the ingredients. I just wish there can be more larger pieces of meat.
