MAGIC KEY PASS UPGRADING INFORMATION 👉🏼1: If you have a CURRENTLY ACTIVE PASS you can only upgrade it if the pass you WANT is AVAILABLE to purchase. If it IS, then you must go to the BOOTHS and pay the difference in FULL. Your expiration and current payments remain the SAME. 👉🏼2: If you have a TICKET (multi-day or one day) that you have scanned into a park with then you can only upgrade it to a pass IF the pass you want is available to purchase. Then you can either upgrade it through the app if the “Upgrade” button is under the ticket in the App OR go to the BOOTHS and upgrade it. Multi-day tickets upgraded to a pass will have the start date BACKDATED to the first date of use. 👉🏼3: If your currently active pass is now in it’s 30-day RENEWAL WINDOW then you can pick of the four passes shown in the options menu. If the pass expires then your only option is to purchase the pass you want IF it is available to purchase. Disneyland filed building permits valued at $5 million with the city of Anaheim to replace show elements, lighting, audio and show systems on the Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln attraction in the Main Street Opera House, according to city records. The city permit also indicates an existing platform will be replaced, a new turntable will be installed and mechanical, electrical and plumbing work will be performed on the attraction.” 👉🏼Lincoln will not be removed. RESERVATION SCHEDULES REMINDER ✨ 🗝 Magic Key reservations are 90 days out: These are dropped randomly but open each day as each day passes and as days are cancelled by other guests. 🍽 Dining reservations are UP TO 60 days out: These open daily at 3am, 6am, just before midnight, and throughout the day-no consistency sometimes so it’s a guessing game. These are released based upon staffing availability so that’s why it’s “up to” 60 days. 🎆 Entertainment Schedule dates are up to 43 days out. This is so you can look at what show you want to see is running, or not. This is also not always fully released due to staffing. 🎟 Ticket reservations are 180 days out: These are also dropped randomly but also open up as each day passes and yes these are separate from Magic Key Park Reservations. ‼️ALL open day by day and ALL fluctuate daily as people CANCEL ALL THE TIME, especially the day before. ❓“Day by day” means that each day that passes, the next day becomes available. So if you want a date past an availability window, you need to COUNT the days from the LAST available date to the date you WANT…that is how many days you will have to WAIT to see that date. 👉🏻🤓Say today 5/3/24 is the day you look at the calendar and you want July 17th for DINING reservations. The calendar only shows availability to July 2nd (60 days out). July 17th is 15 days away from July 2nd…you have to wait 15 days for July 17th to open to make a reservation for that date. Pixar Fest is here at Disneyland from April 26 - Aug 4. There is new Food, merch and entertainment inside both Disneylsnd and Disney California Adventure Park. This event is all inclusive. You do not need additional tickets. You just need Park tickets and valid reservation on the days you plan to come. DISNEYLAND DISABILITY SERVICES CALLBACK Ok they finally called me back and basically told me what many of you have been told, that the service will remain as a case by case basis. He also told me that the verbiage on the website was just to get it “back to what it was intended but it wasn’t changing the service”. He also backed away from my comments that the verbiage goes against the ADA Title III. 🙄 I informed him of the current problem at the parks being that some CMs at the umbrellas and City Hall/Chamber of Commerce are going by the website and declining people. Telling folks you don’t seem autistic, you are fine cognitively, and other just truly sad biased statements.🤦🏻♀️ I told him his department needs to talk to leadership at the parks to get this cleared up. Whether or not that happens remains to be seen. It is a common thing that one hand at Disneyland doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Sigh. So my recommendation still stands, ask for a lead or manager if you have any issues and encounter any biased statements. I want to add that ANY encounter with a CM who uses biased language with you to remember to get their name, location, date and time of encounter and send an email to Disability Services AND go to City Hall to report it. That behavior is not acceptable and you have a right to be treated with respect. Not rolling eyes and outright rudeness about your condition. 👉🏼Remember the changes to registration begin 6/18 with the location for it being at certain ticket booths in the esplanade and no longer inside the parks.
