My client names her Disney trips with her daughter, which is so cute, but this is a special one! They are now less than 60 days away from their Beale Gals Stitch Getaway to Disney, and they are thrilled that they secured all of our dining reservations! They will be having breakfast with Lilo & Stitch on Stitch Day - June 26 (626 day!), and they are so excited! How appropriate!! They also have character breakfasts booked at Chef Mickey’s, and the newly reopened 1900 Park Fare. It’s been a longggg time coming! The Tortured Poets Department is an emotional rollercoaster that I’m so happy now exists. Speaking of cassettes, and as it’s #ShelfieSunday, I wanted to show you these adhesive shelves I’ve got around my Taylor Swift signed CD - I need to put another on the wall when that order arrives! So, these were meant to be for my cassettes but unfortunately it hasn’t worked out that way and now one is wonky on the wall from the cassettes weighing it down. Happy #WaltWednesday! As I approach 30 tomorrow, I can’t help but think age is just a number and it doesn’t matter where I am in life as long as I’m happy. At 30, Walt Disney had a nervous breakdown. He was seeing success with Mickey Mouse, who he’d created at 27, but he was overworked and his staff were deserting him. He didn’t open Disneyland until he was 54, showing no signs of slowing down into retirement. He was still dreaming of Walt Disney World, and specifically Epcot, just days before he passed. So, even though 30 felt like a big, scary age to me as a kid and teenager, it doesn’t anymore. When I first saw the picture of this Bourbon candy case, I thought it’s made of tin. Nope, it’s made of thick plastic! 🤩 But my friend said, there are some of them made of tin, don’t really like tin ones because they can be rusty. It was from about 20 years ago.
