Merry Hekate’s Night today Hekatean Witches! This is a very special day for us! 🥰 6 years ago, when Rob and I were nothing more than just friends, we went to a beach to connect with Hekate and watch a meteor shower at early hours of Aug 13. There, at a liminal space between ocean and land we laid down to watch Her skies. And there, while we were watching the meteors She blessed us with our first kiss. ❤️⭐️ On that very special night She (re)united us as lovers so we also celebrate it as our Date anniversary. 🥰❤️ This year we started our celebrations yesterday, taking an offering to a park here in Sooke, after dining at a restaurant close to the ocean. As we entered the park, we were greeted and blessed by one of Hekate’s most sacred beings! Here’s the video and photos to show you. 💚 Neither me nor Robert has ever had such a close encounter like that! I’ve never seen an Owl before! We were so close that we could look at her right in the eyes! There was Magick and there was Love in the owl’s eyes and I could sense it in such a powerful way while she kept staring at us. Her dark and profound eyes looking through me, though us as Hekate Herself was present shapeshifted into that owl. We felt embraced, guided and blessed. Deep gratitude was what I felt while tears of pure joy came out of my eyes. 🦉 Also on Aug 13, 2013, 9 years ago, when I still lived in the Amazon, I did my first ritual for Hekate to ask Her for a clear sign to confirm that She was really calling me to serve Her as Her priestess. A black bear came to our door last Saturday. 🐻 In 1999, after the ritual of my 1st degree Initiation, an enormous black bear jumped through the window from outside the house to the room where I had just finished the ritual. (It was a very clear vision, with my eyes open.) On that occasion and for years until now, I did not understand why I had seen a bear if I was living in the Amazon at that time.
