🇬🇧 Captain Nemo's submarine? Or Nemo the fish, fully grown and stranded on a quay? Neither. It's just another straightforward picture of an Amsterdam's museum, beautifully integrated with the harbour landscape and built in 1997 by one of the biggest stararchitects, obviously. Attaching their names to glamorous projects like the @nemosciencemuseum is the very reason for the stararchitects' existence but this is a mutually beneficial arrangement because the city has earned another landmark to pop up on social media. And a nice one too. Oh, that architect was Renzo Piano by the way. 🇵🇱 Okręt kapitana Nemo? A może rybka Nemo, która podrosła i została wyrzucona na nabrzeże? Nic z tych rzeczy. To po prostu kolejny widoczek z amsterdamskim muzeum, pięknie zintegrowanym z portowym pejzażem i zbudowanym w 1997 roku, oczywiście przez jednego z największych stararchitektów. I was so excited to share these photos after the trip but never got to it because life got busy. As I enter the warmer months, I can’t help but to revisit the list of goals I made a couple years back. Hike the Timberline trail, complete my first multipitch, spend more nights sleeping in the backcountry. Day four of Cola Takes a Tour - Bologna • Our first (and only) rainy day of the entire week; fortunately the porticos of Bologna help keep you mostly dry (take note town planners of Brum… whip a few of these bad boys up please) and when they don’t, you dip into the multiple sight-seeing destinations that the Fat City has to offer • First up, the unfinished Basilica Di San Pietro aka the largest brick Gothic church in the world with its 22 chapels and Cassini’s epic sundial.
