I feel a bit weird posting this, I'm not trying to be big headed or arrogant. But, these are my goals as an author. Some are more achievable than others - some may never be reached at all! There's no timeframe on these but I will check in on them every now and then and see how I'm going. Obviously, the main reason I write is to put smiles on little ones' faces. This was a very cool day! Let me tell you why: In 2010 I was at university in Aberdeen when this little known brewery opened their first bar. @brewdogofficial introduced me to the world of craft beer and I have been in love ever since! Seriously, when my wife and I got married in 2018 instead of having champagne in the car between the church and the reception...we had BrewDog! So when BrewDog opened a bar in Perth (Australia) we cashed in my Equity for Punks and went to the opening night! A few shandies later I rather drunkenly pitched the idea of doing a book reading at @brewdogperthau đ 5 months, and smattering of persistence later and here I am! Hosting a reading and signing and ticking off a pretty cool moment along the way! The way @brewdogjames and co built this empire in the pursuit of their passion, taking risks and thinking outside the box has inspired the way I have approached writing and building my own book empire. I'm not doing it the 'traditional' way, but hey... WE'RE STILL GETTING IT DONE!
