Throwback to when I was just 19 that was 26 years ago. I would paint on my hands and knees in front of crowds on dusty street corners and alleys swap meets, flea markets,festivals. I spent many years painting 6 -8-10 hrs. a day on my knees it was painful to say the least, but I was accomplishing my goals. I was getting to paint and people were enjoying it, and I was making some money . I don’t put pictures up of myself in my home or my studio but I do keep this one because it reminds me when times get tough how far I’ve come. It reminds me of how I always persevere by never giving up and to believing in myself, and to have faith in that which is always been here to guide me along the way,. Grateful for this journey for where I’ve been, and where it continues to take me and the opportunity I have to share it with all your good folks who have given me so much support. #SunriseSweat would never have come to be without Ten X Fitness. I had been coaching tennis since 1990 But then in 2002, I created a sport specific conditioning program for tennis players… I called it Ten X Fitness. It took off. I travelled around the country leading workshops, worked on Tour with a professional player, was featured on The Tennis Channel and spoke at National and World Conferences on Tennis. Looking back I realize even back then I was emphasizing mindfulness as a key ingredient to getting the results you desire. I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to have spent this time honing my skills.. as a Coach/Teacher and connecting with so many tennis players along the way.
