Hearing the news recently that the worker mandates may or may not have been lifted gave me so many mixed emotions. I was happy for the people that can go back to work (turns out the government backflipped on this), I felt a sense of sadness for the psychological game that people have had to endure for the past 6 months. I was angry that everyone was celebrating “freedom” again, that didn’t make any sense to me as everyone already celebrated their freedom when people were segregated from society, thrown out of their workplaces and disowned by so many of the people they once knew. All due to a choice they were forced to make, and never wanted to make. Whenever these worker mandates lift, whenever that may be. Just know that there are people out there that are literally picking themselves up from the deepest, and darkest holes. The system wanted to break so many, and many it did. We have lost many lives to suicide as people felt like the light would never appear at the end of the tunnel. These people did not want to participate in this medical experiment for their own justified reasons, some of them to save their own life, there is nothing selfish in ensuring your own safety. We allowed public displays of gaslighting to take place to those people around us who wanted to trust their own judgement. Remember that when you see the people that you cast out from society. And for me, even if the worker mandates are lifted I’m banned from working in the only industry I have known my whole adult career. I will never forget what this country has done to its people, what the state has done to Victorians and especially what people have done to each other. I don’t ask for much in this world, I’m a pretty simple human with what I need and I’ve copped the mandates to the full extent. Denying someone to see a psychologist in the name of a “health” is beyond crazy in itself but I let that go. I won’t stay silent on this. I never go to the doctor unless absolutely necessary because I value the resources we have to people that truly need help. This week we have faced being denied medical treatment due to our waxxination status, my partner needs surgery on something that’s quite uncomfortable for him but he was denied and no one said they can help. I suffer with high blood pressure that I take medication for daily and right now I’ve had an ongoing headache, pain in my chest, arms and vertigo which means I struggle to stand up straight without feeling like I’m going to fall over. I’ve had problems like this before and it’s been because of my blood pressure so I need some checks on my heart, denied that treatment because of my status once again. We also have private health cover too, so both the public & private system is failing us. @bupaaustralia said they couldn’t help as they don’t control “the rules” If you think we are living in a “free” society because you’re allowed to go to a concert or a restaurant then you’re wrong. I know there are people in our country and all over the world that have it “much worse” as many people have told me before, I’m not discounting someone elses pain or suffering so stop gaslighting people around you so they stay quiet on things that are important. This is why people are dying every day. I’m not here for a pitty party but I just want to raise awareness that there are real life situations happening to people that are not waxxinated. I’m sorry to all the people that are suffering in silence I hear you, I see you. The devastation of the floods has absolutely broken my heart, and with family in the region that are trapped as bridges & roads have been taken out this is the time Australia needs to put the political stuff aside and start helping in the Aussie way. Parts of Northern NSW can’t be accessed by anyone, we have homes under water, people & animals trapped without food or drinking water. People have lost everything. It’s operation “what can we do to help?” We are in the process of organising a convoy to get supplies and workers up to help with the clean up, but we need your help too! A call out to fill trucks with supplies will happen soon once we have the finer details of what is needed but for now we ask you if you’re in Victoria please go through your clothes, and goods to prepare when we have an allocated drop off point. The people 🖤 Whenever we have a convoy leaving we always have some amazing humans come down to support us on the journey. The feeling it gives you as you pull into one of the designated stops and you see people jumping & waving, I even saw someone kneeling and praying as we left one day. What broke me on the very first convoy was a little boy came up and said “I’m going to be a freedom fighter one day too” and he hugged me. It’s moments like that and experiences that not many people get to share but it makes me so emotional on every trip because I know we are doing the right thing. People come up to say “I’m so sorry we can’t come to Canberra, but we thank you so much for fighting for us” These people take time out of their day to come out to support us on the journey, and that is what keeps us going. You show up every time, and I’m beyond grateful I get to share this journey with everyone I meet. During last weeks rally in Canberra I was fortunate enough to be the passenger of one of the trucks to Parliament, and it was amazing to be able to see the rally from a different perspective. Usually I am in amongst the crowds, but this time I got to see it all from up high ✌️I loved seeing people through the windscreen and observing all the different emotions of the day. I saw so many smiles, lots of happy tears, plenty of hugs and so much dancing. My heart is happy 🖤 To be a passenger in this truck when we went to Parliament was an absolute honour. As we came around the corner to hear the roar of the crowd and see the sea of people it made me soul & heart so happy, I cried so many tears. All the pain, trauma and heartache since the mandates rolled in was worth that very moment. The head of the Geelong Convoy 🖤 We raised enough money to get these 3 trucks on the road for our Geelong Convoy, the generosity of the people coming together to support the journey and meeting us at our stops along the way made me pretty emotional. Daniel who owns these trucks paid for the wages and we raised the money for the fuel.
