How Many of us wish we had the opportunity as a teen to learn about our hair and develop a proper routine? To be honest, we might still need that opportunity.😜 0 But, this Care For Your Hair Boot Camp is for teen girls, ages 12-16.👧🏽👧🏼👧👧🏿 The stylists at M. Anthony Salon will provide the education and creative learning space your young ladies need to learn to properly care for their hair as they begin to develop effective routines and habits. Our campers will • leave with an understanding of what effect different trends may have on their hair • gain knowledge on how to evaluate popular products to see if they are developed to enhance their individual hair type, thus saving you tons of money in these next few years. • develop a personalized hair care routine Day one will be filled with discovery, discussion and hands on mannequin work based on their current skills. The teens will be sent home with shampoo and conditioner and will be asked to shampoo their own hair before returning to camp the next morning. 💦This will require a little extra time in the morning, so be patient, we want them to do the shampooing not the parent. Day two will begin with the evaluation and recommendation of their assignment. This will help to give them guidance on how much longer they need to shampoo and/or rinse the product from their hair. We will then assist them in the styling of their hair. We understand that this may take hours and we are here to assist. Campers will need to bring a bag lunch each day. 🥪Each camper will need to have permission to walk with the group to Kroger for producet evaluation activity (3 blocks from M. FAQ Fridays What are camp accommodations like? Connection Camp is hosted at Five Oaks Retreat Centre just outside Brantford, Ontario. This location has several cabin complexes with multiple bunk beds per room and secure, locking doors. We will gather for meals in a large dining hall and there are several indoor showers and washrooms available. When registering for camp, you/your teen will receive a questionnaire about them that we will use to match teens with similar sleeping needs. This way, someone who needs quiet in order to sleep wont be bunking in the same cabin as someone who needs music playing! There is no Wi-fi available at the retreat centre.
