Take me back to… The #bonnevillesaltflats in #utah . Exactly this month 2 years ago I went on the “Loop of a lifetime” road trip. From WA state -> Utah (Bonneville Saltflats, Moab) -> Colorado (Just passed by unfortunately) -> Wyoming (Yellowstone) up into -> Montana (Went to a local restaurant recommended to me by an old foreman “Pickle Barrel” in Bozeman) -> Back home through Idaho. Making this into a “loop” all in 2 weeks time. Oh I also lost 2 days of this trip because I had to repair the rear main seal of this truck. Take Me back This was on my honeymoon last year in Breckenridge. My life and I had a free afternoon so decided to take the trail up to Boreas Pass. This was my first “big boy” trail in the 4Runner and knew if I could conquer it, it would push me past my comfort zone and create an amazing memory. We headed up the trail and it didn’t’ take long for me to be simply amazed with the views but also the performance, and I knew I was barely scratching the surface. After seeing many YouTubers being on the trails exploring and being in amazement, I was now in that moment. The trail was covered in snow all the way up and that was a new experience learning to navigate in that terrain for me. Mile by mile we climbed to the top and I could finally take a moment to breathe and soak it all in. I did it. Pushed past the fear, learned some capabilities of the vehicle and have the memory that’ll last a lifetime.
