Hike #19 for @52hikechallenge was at Silver Falls State Park. This is not the first time I have done this hike, but this was the wettest time I have experienced this hike! The weather and the waterfalls were outrageous! I also extended a casual meetup for anything who would like to join, and @mollybaker1 took me up on my offer. Let me tell you, she is a gung-ho hiker down for any climate or duration on the trail. Looking to hiking again with you in the future. This month I am finishing up the Spring Fling Challenge for @myadventurechallenge, and I have 35 more miles to go! I was hoping to do the whole Trail of 10 Falls, but because of the soggy weather we opted again for our modified option, which still came down to 8+ miles. Things I learned from this hike: 1. I hike a lot, so much so I will hike in pretty much any type of weather. 2. When you have the right company, it can make a crappy outside experience a lot less miserable. 3. Nothing is truly waterproof. 4. I can be so stressed out and never feel like I am getting anything done, but when I still take the time to hike I never regret it. 5. I am a badass.
