These should get to being a regular thing now, if I ever get back into the habit of posting things regularly. Between dogsitting and spending most of my time in the morning and the evening in a poor mood (Bipolar Irritability Strikes Again!), I've not had the time or inclination to do my readings the past couple days. I assure you, they will return. I just don't want to get myself sucky readings while I'm in a mood that's not much inclined toward motivation at the moment. Why are we ripping down this by bi-fold door set (both doors in one pair)? Because it's two sets of doors in one opening, from the same supplier, same manufacturer. Allow that to sink in. Let's continue now. One set is 35-5/8" wide and the other is 36-1/4"wide. Same supplier. Same manufacturer. The larger door was a replacement for one that came the wrong size (32"). Thank goodness we framed the opening with the reglets based off measurements from the smaller door or we would be tearing this out..(2nd photo). In the last two pics, check out the quality of the top and bottom door cuts - This is from the manufacturer, on the face side of our (to be) clear finished doors. Easier said than done. I think that is why forgiveness is so hard to give away. They haven't hurt like we hurt. So why should I forgive them? What I was taught is that when we forgive, it isn't about the ones we forgive, it's all about us. About starting our healing time. Letting go of the shield for hurt, our anger. Allowing our hurt to breathe, to be exposed to the light of truth. To begin healing. Starting to move on. . . Forgiveness is everything when we want to heal and move on. For me, that can sometimes be a long process, even giving forgiveness many times in one day. It seems to depend on the depth and quality of my pain. Once I get there, and I let go of my hurt for longer and longer periods of time, my energy grows in quantity and especially in quality. . . Forgiveness comes easily at times, other times I must work diligently to keep giving it away. It is for me, an organic thing, shifting and changing.
