The wind picked up in the afternoon at Hirosaki Castle Park. By the end of the afternoon, uncountable petals were being carried away on the water forming entire carpets. A fitting ending to my cherry blossom roadtrip of the Tohoku region.
Mt Iwaki was clearly visible from Hirosaki Castle. This castle tower itself was actually moved 80 meters in 2015 to restore the stone base of the tower, dubbing it "the moving castle".
Hirosaki Castle Park was without a doubt the highlight of my cherry blossom roadtrip. I walked around for about six hours and enjoyed every second of it.

Y cuando nos acercamos fué lo más mágico ever!! Luego nos dirigimos a Shinjuku, pasamos por Kabukicho Tower, le tomamos foto a la cabeza del Godzilla, visitamos a nuestro primer Donqui y al final del día nos movimos al área de Kitazawa para recorrer las tiendas de segunda. Spring always reminds me of Sakura 🌸 so blessed that this spring I had the chance to see the annual sakura festival and incredibly beautiful hanami all over the place at Hirosaki Park (Aomori🇯🇵). Weather was great, slightly chilly in the morning, breezy in the afternoon then back to comfortable chill in the evening.
