The Mobile Health Unit (MHU) program, an initiative of Hindalco Industries Unit, Birla Copper, and Aatapi Seva Foundation endeavors to extend healthcare access to remote and unreached communities, offering Primary Health Care services directly to the doorsteps of the most marginalised. Equipped with a dedicated team, the MHU travels across 14 villages in Bharuch's Vagra block, conducting OPDs , attending to over 1200 patients in a month. With temperatures soaring high this summer, our focus shifted to combating the escalating threat of heatstroke. In collaboration with the local community, we conducted a comprehensive Heatstroke Awareness Drive in Jageshwar village on 21st May. This drive aimed to educate residents on early signs, symptoms, and essential preventive measures against heat-related illnesses. There is a significant healthcare personnel shortage throughout India, it is particularly problematic in rural areas. Hence, to provide medical facilities for villagers and to create awareness on health and sanitation among the villagers, on 18th May 2024, we have conducted general health camp at D Mallapura village of Sandur taluka. During the camp, Shri Basavaraj- Gram Panchayat Member, Shri Galeppa-Village leader, Shri Hanumanthappa - Community Health Officer, Shri Ganesh- Community Health officer, Smt Renuka, Ms Roja - PHC Staff, Health workers and Asha workers were present 112 villagers benefited from the health camp. 77 villagers underwent blood pressure and diabetes screening. 26 were found abnormal diabetes and 14 were found abnormal BP. 6 villagers underwent Tuberculosis (TB) screening. #MSPL #Baldota #csractivity #csrinitiative #csrinitiatives #crsprogram #csrproject #health #help

This vibrant green space features a dedicated play area for children and a communal seating area for senior citizens, fostering community engagement and well-being.
