I am Alessandro León-Contreras, a student at East Los Angeles College in East Los Angeles, California, where I am completing an Associates’ degree in mechanical engineering.
The thought of joining NCAS was natural for me, as I am also deeply drawn to environmental engineering, and NASA goals for a more sustainable earth align with mine.
My passion in climate change has allowed me to delve more into this ongoing dilemma, specifically on topics relevant to it, like that of concrete and its sustainable replacements in construction, and give presentations on it.”
