Fill a beautiful bowl or chalice with water and light a candle. Meditate on the waters of life and on her sacred flame.
What healing and inspiration are you calling into your life right now?
Make a vow, promise, or sacred commitment to initiate action to support those desires! Give thanks for her help in quickening those aspects of your life you wish to bring energy to.
When the candle has burned completely, whether in one sitting, or several, take it
and the water together and release them into or onto the earth with your love. 💛💙
She is a complex and multi-dimensional Goddess, most frequently said to preside over Poetry, Smithcraft, and Healing. ✨🕯✨
Brigid is often called a Fire Goddess, and it is true, yet she is more than that.
She is connected to the energy of "quickening" increasing power toward a desired outcome, just as the light of the sun is quickening at this time, bringing more light each day as we move toward the Spring equinox next month. ✨🕯✨
She is a Goddess of Fire; the fire of the forge, of creativity, of inspiration, of poetry.
She is the Goddess of Water; the waters of life, of love, of healing. ✨🕯✨
Brigid is celebrated at her sacred wells, where healing is granted and offerings (coins, herbs, other natural objects) are tossed in, in gratitude for her blessings.
