Mariella Bettineschi (1948), Beatrice Pediconi (1972), Maria Angeles Vila Tortosa (1978), Simona Weller (1940), seppur di diverse generazioni, hanno in comune la medesima attitudine ad affrontare un discorso sul metodo che, pur tenendo conto di una storia già scritta e “parlata” riesce ad aggiungere un nuovo traguardo alla ricerca sul segno. By embracing a broad period with her experimentation, #MariellaBettineschi has led a solitary path aimed at implementing her own language, a new lemma through which is possible to express one's role as a woman and artist in the world. The exhibition takes into consideration a broad chronological span that goes from the 1980s to 2022, exhibiting a vast corpus of works, including some unpublished ones: the Piumari series, actual sculptures that take up the surface of the wall, making space through the tones of white and gold; the New Tales series in which hand-woven cushions show imaginary and anthropomorphic figures and small inscriptions that become artistic statements; up to the latest experiments with digital painting and the iconic works of the series The next era, an ongoing project started by the artist in 2008 focusing on a reflection that involves the female universe as the bearer of a different gaze. 📌Mariella Bettineschi, L’era successiva e altri racconti, is up until March 16. La mostra prende in considerazione un ampio arco cronologico che dagli anni ’80 arriva sino al 2022, esponendo un vasto corpus di opere, tra cui alcune inedite: la serie dei Piumari, delle vere e proprie sculture che prendono il piano della parete facendosi spazio attraverso i toni del bianco e dell’oro; la serie Nuovi racconti in cui i cuscini tessuti a mano mostrano figure immaginarie e antropomorfe e piccole iscrizioni che diventano statement artistici; fino ad arrivare alle ultime sperimentazioni con la pittura digitale e alle opere iconiche della serie L’era successiva, progetto on going iniziato dall’artista nel 2008 a partire da una riflessione che coinvolge in prima istanza l’universo femminile come portatore di uno sguardo altro. ➡️ LINK IN BIO ⬅️
