THIS is why it is a real privilege when someone 'chooses' to buy your work. They see something in it that makes them 'want' it. Why?🤷♀️ It has to be the most common question in the english language. I know that I am definitely the type of person that always wants to know the reason for everything. So why did we start our business? Well, to be honest, we never really intended to start a business, it was just the path that we ended upon. The opportunity to start this brand honestly just fell in our lap when we noticed a pretty big gap in the decor industry while decorating for a client. We found that a majority of the decor we were proposing to her just was not what she wanted, she preferred more intricate designs but didn't want to have to pay an arm and a leg for them. During our many shopping trips to Home Goods and Hobby Lobby, we quickly noticed that any decor that wasn't mass-produced was pretty expensive. So what was the solution? The idea for the brand was really born when we were creating a custom pink and rose gold mandala table for her. We snagged the table at a closeout sale for $15.00 and then stripped and refinished it. Once we had it completed, we gave it to our client for free. Her reaction was INSANE. She was in love and repeatedly tried to pay for it. We just loved that she loved it! That was enough payment for us. After that experience, we decided we wanted to create a limited line of custom decor that is more budget-friendly for the everyday woman. We are very fortunate that we are able to procure wood at a very low price through personal connections and have the ability to mill and prep it ourselves, which allows us to keep the cost to the customer very low compared to other custom decor brands.
