One of the best character breakfast at WDW is Topolino’s Terrace! Dine with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy at Disney’s Rivera resort. It’s a set price of $50 for adults and $30 for kids 9 and under. Included in this price are 🥐 muffins and a hazelnut spread, then choose 1 entree of choice, and 1 soft drink or juice of choice (I recommend the POG juice…blend of passion fruit, orange, and guava juices) I chose the steak and eggs which was 2 eggs any style, roasted potatoes, pomodoraccio tomatoes, polenta, and wild mushroom conserva. The steak was delicious and eggs were fluffy and warm. I highly recommend this meal, it is worth what you are paying for. They also have a selection of morning alcoholic beverages and coffees to choose from as well for an additional price. Rumor has it that you will be joined by Cinderella, Tiana, Mirabel (my daughter is so excited, THREE of her favorites!) and Aladdin as Prince Ali. Last morning in Florida and we sadly said goodbye to our friends whose flight back to Pennsylvania was at 10am. I wanted to see the views of the Disney Riviera Resort from the top floor, so we headed up (a bit tear stained and without make up!) to the coveted Topolino (Mickey Mouse in Italian) Restaurant to see if we could take some pics from their terrace. Now, we were lucky enough to score some great dining experiences whilst here - but the character breakfast at Topolino’s is famously hard to get into. So I was genuinely shocked when we got out of the lift and were immediately asked if we were looking for a “walk up” table for 3? Err, yes please!! #pixiedust So, there we have it - character dining with the theme of the Italian Riviera where Walt Disney liked to take his holidays…. where Minnie is dressed as a poet; Mickey is an artist; Donald a sculptor and Daisy a ballerina. It’s a fixed price menu, lovely food, fantastic views and the best character experience I could have asked for!

Let me set the scene. It’s October 1st, 2017 which is Epcot’s 35th Anniversary. I made us reservations at Garden Grill so we can enjoy breakfast and adorable shenanigans with characters. After just one sip, I accidentally spill my incredibly full mimosa right before Pluto comes over to the table. Hilarity and embarrassment ensue and a refill is procured immediately. Guests will be able to see beloved characters when Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort reintroduces an all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner starring the Fab Five. Over at the EPCOT Resort area, Guests will be able to once again enjoy seaside meals when Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort reopens, and, get their taste buds ready for the re-opening of Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Chef Mickey Starting May 16, Chef Mickey’s will offer an all-you-care-to-enjoy family-style dinner that will include “no touch” appearances like snapping a selfie or waving hello as Mickey and some of his favorite pals make surprising appearances in each of the dining rooms. Similar to other character dining locations, Guests will take home a souvenir with character signatures and colorful artwork Cape May Cafe If Guests ever dream of escaping to the beach and enjoying all the delicious food of an oceanside town, they’ll be happy that Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort reopens on May 18! The New England-style restaurant is a perfect location to refuel before and after a day of adventure at Walt Disney World. Tusker House The Guest-favorite character dining location at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Tusker House Restaurant, will reopen this summer! We loved Artist Point and were a bit worried that its transformation would ruin a great restaurant. Not only do you get to meet #SafariDonaldDuck and friends (Daisy, Goofy, and Mickey), but it has amazing vegetarian options. If you’re looking to book a #CharacterDining experience, I definitely recommend #TuskerHouse at #AnimalKingdom. Two thumbs up! 👍👍
