The Art behind the Magic! 💫 Some of the most impressive aspects of EPCOT'S International Flower and Garden Festival are the beautifully designed topiaries. There are approximately 70 topiaries around the park! Here are just a few ➡️ Walt Disney World's Nursery supports both the interior plants across their property as well as plant construction for special events. Some of their topiaries (Lady and the Tramp) are created with sphagnum moss, creeping fig, and Mexican feather grass. Do you know someone who has a talent that inspires you to learn more about something you enjoy doing? I have loved photography since I was just a young girl. I remember waiting so patiently trying to get the right angle, lighting, location, and subject at the perfect time, especially when most of my subjects were of animals. And so many times when your eyes are in the lens ready to click, they move!!!. And then you start all over and wait again. But,.I love it! Patience comes with photography for sure! I want to give a shout-out to an amazing photographer and also who is the most humble and kindest person that I have gotten to know on Instagram. Her photos are a work of art, in my opinion. Marisa's @behindtheearswdw work inspires me to look deeper into my details and imagination when taking pictures. This is probably the most colorful photo I’ve ever taken 🎨 I actually missed this shot when we made our way around after entering EPCOT in France. I’m glad too. The early morning opportunity was open shade at the time, muting the colors, and I didn’t have my camera out of my bag in time to catch the red monorail 🚅 passing by. As soon as we dropped our bags at the Boardwalk, we headed straight for EPCOT. We ran in to get our virtual queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Once we did that, we headed to the Fish and Chips shop in the UK Pavilion. This is one of our favorite places to stop for a quick bite in EPCOT. It’s this handsome stud’s 33rd birthday! 😍 When we first started dating, he wasn’t into Disney. He was a Nickelodeon kid. 🤷🏽♀️ We can’t all be perfect. LMAO But then, I signed up for Disney race in 2016 and he visited the parks for the first time as an adult, and absolutely fell in love. Now, we’re WDW annual passholders and super proud. We plan and budget for our trips, and we’re grateful that we can make Disney weekends happen this often. People told us the parks would get old over time, but it still hasn’t. It's National Donut Day! I went to Everglazed in Disney Springs for the first time. They certainly don’t skimp! These are easily twice the size and weight of a regular donut! I chose the #PRIDE inspired donut 🌈 which is a vanilla iced yeast donut topped with a ton of rainbow sprinkles and a gummy rainbow candy. But it doesn't stop there, the donut is also topped with buttercream icing and dusted with purple glitter! There isn't a filling, but the buttercream is piped into the center hole of the donut, so when you cut it in half, it looks and tastes like its cream filled. Super sweet and certainly celebratory. This Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse is a winner! The blueberry mousse is topped with yellow passion fruit curd and a dollop of meringue in addition to a white chocolate square. The mousse sits on a very thin layer of plain cake and the plate is accented with a swirl of berry puree. Not too sweet, is creamy and delicious! We chose this other-worldly dessert with our meal at Animal Kingdom last week.
