The Salt Flats marked both the beginning and end of my Utah trip. On the day I arrived in Salt Lake City, I drove to see and camp there, but let’s say I had terrible “luck”. It was heavily cloudy, the salt wasn’t dry enough to make those cool shapes, and there weren’t any pools of water to make beautiful reflections. Plus, it was super windy. That night, 65 mph wind gusts kept me awake, and I woke up to snow, so no sunrise either. 😨 But I wanted to move on and not let it get in my way. I wasn’t planning to return, but life is not so predictable, and due to weather and a better chance to see the northern lights that night, I changed my plans last minute. Driving 6 hours back to where I started my trip was so worth it! I not only saw the pools and reflections, but saw the Aurora, an incredible sunset, and a perfect sunrise. 🥹 That also meant no sleep that night, but it was 100% worth it. I spent the next day, the day I flew back home, taking naps everywhere I could lol Oh, and also got to practice my drone skills. Like 15 top time with me at Scta meets and land speed racers voted hot rod, magazine, top 10 car the year where was pictured in the centerfold of hot rod and it was voted on one of the top 100 inspirational hot rods, and 2001 I believe of the decade of the car was built in a two car garage in Paramount, California by my dad and grandpa Gary Garcia, Captain Billy, and numerous amount of other people that were helping on it. Once they got the car figured out, salt conditions through 90 456 were never really that good. By my dad, captain, Billy did Cook and myself, Carrie Garcia, Harold and Pete ran a big block Chevrolet on gas with a PSI screw blower supplied by John Lee got bill in the el Maroge 200 on our club and the muroc 200 mile an hour club got me in the El Mirage and Bonneville 200 mile an hour club top speed 252 miles an hour at Bonneville and 3 miles and 229 miles an hour at El Mirage and 215 at Murach 2015. We were inducted into the drryblakes Racing Hall Fame also my dad was inducted in the Hall of Fame and 98 my mom and 99 and my grandfather in 2001.
