A thousand years late with this drawing challenge, I know. I started it ages ago, completely forgot about it, then remembered and finished it the other day. I have so many (literally) colourful characters, I knew I had enough for a colour wheel (and yes I know Midnight isn’t super purple in this headshot but he IS purple I promise 😂) It was actually difficult to choose for some of the colours as I have multiple lads that would have worked. June is over, and I drew everything ⭐️ This is the last lot of #draweverythingjune sketches! It’s been so good to have this challenge to practice and draw poses I normally wouldn’t (because I’m terrible at using refs; I just draw from my brain most of the time 😬). Thank you to @adorkastock for all the inspiration, not just this month but for so many years, and a challenge that gave me a kick up the backside to use ref more! . 1 - Vee, Aisling, and Enya, unseelie faeries. The first two are sisters and Enya is their cousin. As soon as I saw this trio ref I knew I had to draw them. I could not be arsed to draw all their tattoos though (especially Aisling) 🧚♀️ . 2 - Scarlet. Yes, again. I saw this ref and immediately knew who I needed to draw those shoes on 👠 . 3 - Caoimhe, unseelie faerie. Another case of immediately knowing which character this reference was good for. She’s Enya, Vee and Aisling’s aunt, and enjoys being silly, even with old family weaponry 🗡 . 4 - Phoebe and Jade. Back to my main character and her best friend for the final sketch! Not quite a #demonjune as he’s not technically a demon, but one of the prompts was demon of the underworld, which made me want to draw my river gods! So I stared with Styx, he river of pain. This is the version of the river god that resides in the Underworld beneath the sithen of the Unseelie Sidhe. Their primary form in the main Underworld is female, and all oaths are sworn upon her. This incarnation is more hateful and wicked, warped by the magic of the lands of the Unseelie and nearby Sluagh, and takes pathbreaking as a very serious offence.
