My dream came true after 12 years of thinking of it: im finally doing a 6 day cycling trip! 🙌 We’ll do around 350 km between Avignon and Sète, passing by the Carmargue (France)!🚲And I’m living my best life!!! 🤩 Here’s a little overview of the essentials I took with me on this trip where I had to take the least possible with me: • Slide 1: One cycling outfit from @sirokocycling which I borrowed from my sister and I borrowed the cycle from a friend. • Slide 2: My natural sunscreen by @mademoiselle_kelapa (there’s a promotion going on at the moment till 31/5 for those living in France) • Slide 3: A natural Savon de Marseille soap to wash our clothes • Slide 4: my clothes: 2 jumpers, 1 very light coat, a rain coat, a pair of trousers, 5 panties and 2 pairs of socks, 1 pair of shoes for the evening, and some bandages to take care of a wound on my leg. • Slide 5: Bathroom essentials like my @lamazuna toothbrush (with interchangeable head), shampoo bar from @soap_square, shower soap @meloayurveda, tong scraper, @worktree_auroville comb, a homemade deodorant and mascara, and a moisturiser. 上篇在棉堡遇到那個台灣女生之後，我們按行程去玩了滑翔翼，然後回到飯店。 我不記得是飯店原本就有附餐，還是因為我們來自台灣，剛好那位熱情飯店經理的哥哥在台灣工作，所以他決定請我們吃飯，總之那晚我們在飯店吃晚餐。 他找了一個男下屬坐我旁邊一起用餐，他則跟我朋友坐在一起。他一邊介紹上菜的餐點，一邊熱情地跟我們聊天，熱情到有點瘋癲的那種。 我們邊吃邊聊，他說到「我們飯店屋頂可以眺望棉堡石灰岩地形的夜景，很美喔！」。我說怎麼可能，這邊距離那有一點距離耶！他說「真的可以看到，但飯店屋頂一般是禁止進入的，不過等等吃完飯你們可以跟我們一起上去」。 我對他說的話半信半疑。 ✨✨✨ 我們吃了十多分鐘吧，他突然把左手搭在我朋友的左肩上，瘋癲的把她摟向他，我朋友想辦法掙脫，然後她用中文對我說「他在吃我豆腐！」。 我當時有夠白目，因為我聽不清楚她說的話，只聽到豆腐兩個字，我回說「你想吃豆腐嗎？我不知道他們有沒有豆腐耶！」，接著才意識到她指的是那個色經理在吃她豆腐！ 於是我們嚴肅堅定地說，我們要離開了。 他說「可是你們還沒吃完耶」，我們說我們已經飽了，謝謝！ 他說「那這樣你們不能上去屋頂看夜景」，我們說那就不要看！ 我們從先前的嬉笑轉變為嚴肅的態度，大概讓他有點驚訝，他後來讓他的男下屬帶我們上去屋頂看夜景。原來只是一個兩層樓高的屋頂，根本看不到什麼夜景，有夠鳥（照片在第二張，不過現在回想起來，我們跟著上去屋頂也是滿危險的，當時真是大膽）。 ✨✨✨ 回到房間後，我們見到另一位年紀相仿的房客（我們住的是帶衛浴的女生共用房），可能只大我們幾歲而已。她說著一口流利的英文，一得知我們是台灣人後，突然轉成中文聊天！原來她父母來自台灣，但她從小在加拿大長大，中文是她的第二語言。 她一邊旅行，一邊教英文，獨自旅行過很多地方，感覺得出來她很有獨旅的經驗。我們跟她提到剛剛晚餐的事件，她立刻提醒我們，她試了幾次房間門鎖，她覺得那個門鎖很不穩固，容易被打開，不是很安全，她建議想個辦法擋住房門。 我們把門邊的窗戶上鎖，環視房間可以用的東西，最後移動一個大概三十公分寬的床頭矮櫃，擋在房門前，用床尾卡住矮櫃，確定房門無法直接被打開。 加拿大女生說她隔天一早就要啟程，我們可能都還沒起床，但她離開前會把我們叫醒，要我們確保她出門後，矮櫃和床尾的位置仍可以卡住房門。 ✨✨✨ 隔天一早，我們依照前一晚說的，確定門不會被打開後，倒頭睡回籠覺。 忘記過了多久，我被朋友的聲音驚醒！ 因為有個男性工作人員開門想進來我們房間！他硬是將門往內推開，把門打開了約七八公分寬！乾！看到這幕快嚇昏，整個人彈起來，快速收拾行李，CHECK OUT！ 那時天已經亮了，飯店經理給我們的解釋是這是morning call！最好morning call會這樣闖進客人的房間，把客人嚇跑！ 👉經過這次事件後，我自己獨旅或是跟友人出遊，通常會帶兩個 #門擋，只要住宿地點的房鎖看起來很薄弱，我就會拿出來卡住房門。這個又小又輕，很方便攜帶但不是萬用，如果門和地板的距離太高就派不上用場。 👉後來更常做的是視當下手邊或房內可取得的東西，做簡易的機關把門卡住，至少提高一點點破門而入的門檻與時間。 一趟短短幾天的土耳其旅行，讓我學到好多課！ 👉更多旅行會在4/27（六）線上分享，邀請你一起來參加！ 👉在 @go_greener_today 檔案連結中，報名 ⟣ 跟我們一起出發，來趟永續的旅行 ━ 友善地球的旅行撇步大公開！⟢ 正在丹麥旅居的我，和正在泰國旅居的Inwhat @forest.food.lab @atelier.forest.soul ，會在這場分享會中，分享如何在旅行中，依然過著有意識的永續生活。如何讓我們的旅行，盡可能減少環境衝擊。 畢竟，旅行中看過這些美景，讓我更想要實踐永續生活，讓我的後代或我自己，在未來還能一睹這些國家的風采！ #旅行 #土耳其旅遊 #背包客 #背包旅行 #土耳其 #棉堡 #棉花堡 #自助旅行 #永續旅行 #旅行必備 #永續 #低碳 #環保 #滑翔翼 #飛行員 #pamukkale #sustainabletraveling #backpacker #永續分享會 #今天綠一點旅行

最近睡不著，想起在土耳其搭夜間巴士，半夜被丟到荒郊野外的事。 那時我和朋友各自在德國不同城市交換學生，已在歐洲交換將近三個月，我去了一些國家，有結伴也有獨旅，心臟越練越大顆，覺得可以挑戰一下歐亞大陸交界的土耳其了！ 那年五月，我們兩個女生約在伊斯坦堡相見，打算一路玩到Cappadocia卡帕多奇亞，再到Pamukkale棉堡，然後回到伊斯坦堡。 去土耳其之前，我曾單獨坐夜間巴士從德國萊比錫到慕尼黑，也單獨搭過夜間火車從義大利羅馬到威尼斯（雖然是個整趟我都不敢睡的經驗）。當時還是學生，覺得搭夜車是一種旅行的體驗，而且可以省下一個晚上的住宿費，隔天一早抵達目的地還可以直接玩，省錢省時又划算（當時的肝真是新鮮又年輕）！ 所以我們事前做了功課，決定在土耳其這三個地點都搭夜巴移動，這次有朋友相伴，兩個女生一起搭夜巴更放心！ ✨✨✨ 前面行程都很順利，在卡帕多奇亞還遇到好天氣，成功搭到熱氣球升空！那天晚上八點半，我們在卡帕多奇亞搭巴士，預計隔天早上八點會抵達棉堡，雖然巴士椅不是很好坐，但前面玩了幾天已經很累了，我在車上很快就睡著了。 忘了睡了多久，我突然被叫醒！ 睜開雙眼，發現窗外一片漆黑，巴士靜止不動，司機站在前面用我聽不懂的語言大聲吆喝，一邊用手勢示意我們下車！下車！ 剛睡醒的腦袋，還迷迷糊糊，我轉頭看向夥伴，她也一臉迷茫；再轉頭看向巴士後座，很多人排隊陸續下車。 我看了一下手錶，欸才凌晨四五點，不是早上八點才會到棉堡嗎？為什麼巴士停在這裡？為什麼我們要在這裡下車？而且外面不是巴士轉運站！ 我們走向司機用英文詢問這裡是棉堡嗎？司機再度很兇的用我聽不懂的語言要我們出去，他回到駕駛座準備開車，身體語言大概是我們若不下車他就要繼續前往下一站了。 我們無奈地快速拿起後背包，衝下車。 一下車，我心裡罵了好幾次乾～～～ 外面又黑又冷就算了，舉頭所望見不到任何建築，沒有任何車子經過，手機也連不到任何網路，我們被丟在一個荒郊野外的公車站牌！有些人開始移動，不知道走向哪裡；有人打給飯店，有人說等等會有人來接，我心裡有點擔心會被接去哪裡？會不會被丟包到另一個荒郊野外？腦子裡開始上演各種電影看過的戲碼，越來越擔心在這個夜黑風高的夜晚會發生什麼事…… ✨✨✨ 同時，我們很快地瞄準這群人當中唯一一個亞洲臉孔，我們向前攀談，得知他來自韓國，獨自一個人來土耳其旅行，他也要前往棉堡，被丟包在這裡他也覺得莫名其妙。他至少180公分高，加上是亞洲男生，讓我們安心一些，我們詢問他等等車子來的話，是否可以跟我們一起搭車？能否跟我們一起到我們訂的飯店？ 他很紳士地答應了我們，後來也跟我們一起上了一台車，跟我們一起到了飯店大廳，在大廳沙發上小瞇，等待可以check in的時間。說真的，當時要不是他願意跟我們上車，我可能會在公車站牌等到天亮才敢行動。 不過我們萬萬沒想到，抵達棉堡這間飯店還不能掉以輕心，因為我們遇到了色色的飯店經理，還有網路論壇上的騙子本人！ ✨✨✨ 所以，旅行推薦搭夜巴或夜車嗎？ 👉如果預算有限，我會選擇這個方式，省去交通時間又省下住宿費，但你一定要做好功課，並且考量旅行地點的安全性。 👉如果你是很容易睡著的人，也可以選擇這個方式，年輕時(?)的我是這樣旅行的；雖然現在的我一樣很容易在車上入睡，但車上的睡眠品質還是比較差，現在我會盡量避免。 👉雖然相對省錢，但你千萬要小心保管好護照和錢包！我會分散金錢放置處，當時也必帶 #隱藏式腰包，非常貼身，可藏在衣服裡蓋住。 除了隱藏式腰包，我會依旅行的地點與天數，帶一些不同且實用的東西，邀請你參加4/27（六）的線上分享會，我會分享更多小撇步！ 報名資訊在 @go_greener_today檔案裡！ 一起出發去旅行吧！ ✨✨✨ 當然，行前功課做的再足，還是會有突發狀況，所以平常要練習隨機應變的能力；如果是獨旅，更容易發生一些意料之外的事情，更要注意人身安全。比如看起來善良的人令人安心，亞洲臉孔讓人卸下心防，卻可能適得其反！文中提到的那個騙子本人就是亞洲女生，而且還是台灣人！ 色色飯店經理與騙子的故事下回待續啦～ #旅行 #背包客 #背包旅行 #土耳其 #棉堡 #棉花堡 #自助旅行 #永續旅行 #旅行必備 #永續 #低碳 #環保 #夜車 #夜間巴士 #夜間火車 #pamukkale #sustainabletraveling #backpacker #永續分享會 #今天綠一點旅行

This little hermit crab 🦀 that we spotted on Thinadhoo beach didn't choose a new flamboyant fashion shell to show off in front of his crustacean friends. Most probably, he had to relocate into this plastic ball because he did not find the shell that some tourist took home (illegally) as souvenir, now somewhere on a shelf covered in dust 🐚 This artificial shelter adaptation from hermit crabs is a global phenomenon subject of research which can be (unfortunately) witnessed also in Maldives 🔍 Plastic is the most pervasive element of marine waste and it seems that many marine animals, like these hermit crabs, have to adapt to it's abundance and to the lack of natural shells due to human impact... #neyvaa_maldives #maldives #localmaldives #ecotourism #sustainabletraveling

For example, a train journey to Berlin with Snälltåget is a perfect start. 👉 Explore the options: There are many ways to travel. Consider a sailing trip if it suits you better, or use carpool groups to find car-sharing opportunities. When Aylen and her partner travel with their motorhome, they often look for fellow travelers. 👉 Plan smart for long-distance train travel: Avoid journeys with many changes. Train delays are common and can lead to missed connections and involuntary overnight stays at train stations. Instead, plan sightseeing stops along the way. 👉 Travel comfortably: For a pleasant journey, make sure to bring something to keep yourself occupied, such as a book, knitting, or a Game Boy. On longer trips, a pillow and a small sleeping bag are invaluable accessories. 👉 Embrace the time: Many are deterred from sustainable travel due to the time it takes. Aylen emphasizes the importance of letting go of stress and seeing travel as a chance for contemplation, reflection, and making new acquaintances.
