Weekend full of music…Saturday night of rock at Gallery 5 (@tiny_lights_rva , @hotlavaownsyou , @danger_birds_rva all rocked so hard it left my soul humming..) Sunday morning the Richmond Shapenote Singers teamed up w @richmondcontradance to lead a workshop during their weekend festival. Shapenote is so fulfilling but it is challenging, & only about 5 people in the second video had sung it before…they killed it. Then some of us hung around to watch the dancing & we all ended up on the dance floor & the gentlemen in the yellow skirt & cowboy boots (obviously my favorite) asked me to dance. #Shapenote #Contradance
