I came home from work and had to quickly go to the garden to add another room (the beekeeping term for this box is called super) at the top of one beehive! Even if for some this may sound funny, I decided together with my parents that this year we will also plant nettles in the garden. The nettle is a wonderful plant created by God, it contains iron and vitamin C which favors the absorption of iron. The oxalic acid in nettle is lower than in spinach, so the iron from nettle is absorbed much better. I am very grateful to God for this wonderful plant! We plan to dry some and make our own organic powder. One early morning of this week, while I was on the tram, the Lord drew my attention to notice something that impressed me very much: An elderly person was sitting nearby and had a dog. The dog was very quiet, but he raised one leg and touched with it one of his master's legs. It was obvious that the dog wanted to ask for something. After some time, I noticed how the person takes out a special food from the pocket and gives it to the dog. I was impressed how this dog knew that his owner loved him and that he had something special for him in his pocket. Although the dog was quiet he persevered until he got what he knew was in store for him. The more the Lord has gifts prepared for His children!!! I remembered the well-known verse Matthew 7:7 "Ask, and it will be given you". It started to rain a lot and it's not good for my tomato plants, so I had the idea to try ripening hoods. My two beehives consist of two swarms from May 2023. As they are young swarms from this year I did not expect them to produce much honey. I was very surprised yesterday by God when I opened the first hive and saw that all the frames in the second deep super for honey were full with linden honey. I got from one hive 20 kg of linden honey 🍯 and I was very happy, knowing that it is a young swarm and the bees had only one harvest, namely the linden. (The second hive I will finish next week at the latest.) I was thinking about Enoch and how he walked with God daily (for 300 years!)
