We've been working to quantify how much carbon seagrass can sequester, which involves tediously counting and measuring ⭐️a lot⭐️ of plants. Like all research, the journey included fine-tuning methods, which is a nicer way of saying we learned how not to do it. While I've been a scientific diver for ten years, this will be my fourth season focusing on seagrass.
