AMELOOT UPDATE 🚙 We arrived to Pancake Bay yesterday! Unfortunately as Nate and I were trying to set up we were getting attacked by flies and mosquitoes. We got the trailer levelled then realized we forgot to fill the fresh water tank. So as we were driving to fill the tank we just looked at each other and said screw it. We’re not finishing our adventure this way. We drove to Sault St Marie and got a hotel for the night. And this morning decided to cut through the U.S where we will stay in Paradise Valley (camlachie) for the weekend until we get into the Pinery Monday! As a full-time RVer I live very minimalistic! I’m waaaaay behind on posting and didn’t even finish all our adventures in 2023 and now we’re securely IN 2024 - Mama’s been taking better care of her peace and energy which requires downtime. With four littles on the move downtime is rare but the whole point of this journey is to slow down and get intentional about our time and energy. That said, 2023 we did A LOT! Slept in 21 states. Visited 15 National Parks/Monuments. We’ve started a list of where we want to spend more time (CA) and what we can skip in the future (OR). We are still amazed that we’re doing this trip and we’ve been on the road now for 7 months. Not long in the grand scheme of life! 2024 started with us in Kiawah Island, SC again where we eased back into #rvlife after a stopover in Kings Mountain. We’ve been to Kings Mtn twice now bc it’s close to Geo’s mom in NC but still haven’t visited the Nat’l Monument mainly bc of rain and time🤦🏼‍♀️ it’s hard for me to let something go when you’re so close but this lifestyle has taught me you just can’t do everything and you have to be ok with it. Anyway, KI was quiet, the weather was awesome and we had the best Naturalist EVER in the Nature Center who shared lots of fun info for the kids and let them touch/pet reptiles and the opossum - which doesn’t always happen when it’s the busy season. This trip reminded me why we prefer KI as “our beach” bc there’s so much to do that doesn’t have to be all about the beach. 2024 has been much more reptile and hands on than expected so stay tuned! #rvtravels #rvlifewithkids #rvmoms

We are still recovering from last week 🤣 but so glad we took the quick trip from Corpus Christi to Baytown to hug Aunt Ginger, get a haircut, Daisy get a bath, run a TON of errands, see friends and Cooper get to go to Youth Night at Faith Family Church!! We drove back the 3.5 hours home to Booker the next day. Then we moved straight into doing a vendor event on Friday night and Saturday, which turned out to be lots of fun! Busy, busy but so worth it. Also, look how big and handsome my baby boy is getting! 🥺🥺
