I’m not interested in creative writing, I’m interested in practical measures, so the only pessimism I consciously embrace is the kind that makes way for something new. The primordial chaos from which things are born, not the mere chaos of dissolution. Whether it’s some new aristocracy, theocracy, or moneyless utopia you desire, I would simply urge you all to realize that life is already what you make it.
