📍Bryce Canyon National Park, UT One of my favorite national parks so far! Pretty lucky as the crowd wasn’t bad and the weather was perfect 🫡 The Navajo Loop was recommended to us so we took the route from the Visitor Center, to Queens Trail, and then the loop containing Wall Street. Overall, about 5 miles of hiking! - #brycecanyon #brycecanyonnationalpark #brycecanyontrails #usnationalparks #utahtravels #utahnationalparks #navajoloop #queensgardentrail

⛰️Bryce Canyon National Park⛰️ If you have never been to Bryce Canyon just go ahead and add it to your bucket list. We really enjoyed it! Thankfully we had beautiful weather which made for a wonderful the day. We started the day at the Mossy Cave Trail which was recommended to us by @little.hikers.explore (if you plan to come out to this area and want some great hiking recommendations make sure to check out her page). We then went to Inspiration Point which was absolutely stunning.😍 This is definitely a must see if you are in the area. We took a break for lunch and shuttled back into the park and did the Queens Garden Trail. Charlee and I did half of it (the trail is very steep and I was worried about Charlee making it back up). It was also stunning but be aware that if hiking with littles there are dangerous ledges where you can fall right in the canyon. So a heads up there!😬 We have had a wonderful weekend and are so glad we were able to come. This weekend was filled with a lot of “Wow God” moments. This is one we will always remember.♥️ #brycecanyon #brycecanyonnationalpark #mossycavetrail #inspirationpoint #queensgardentrail #nationalparks #americathebeautiful #travel #travelgram

POSTCARDS FROM BRYCE CANYON 🇺🇸 Definitely a must to anyone travelling to Utah 🙌 Most of these photos were taken during the Navajo Loop & Queens Garden Trail, which I truly recommend to anyone visiting this National Park. RECOMMEND ITINERARY 👇 - Start a Sunrise Point and walk to Sunset Point (this is part of the Rim Trail), taking in the panoramic view over Bryce's Amphitheatre. - Start the Najavo Loop Trail at Sunset Point. - Once you get down into Bryce Canyon, instead of coming back up on the other side of the Navajo Loop, follow the signs for Queen's Garden Trail. - You will finish back at the Sunrise Point. You can also do it the other way around. However, I feel that doing it this way has more visual impact (ie, going down into the Navajo Loop) as you will see from the top the iconic view of Bryce Canyon - first photo of the carrousel. 📸 #brycecanyon #usaroadtrip

Visited Bryce Canyon National Park yesterday with my parents and Nick. All I can say is wow. This is my new favorite Utah national park, out of the now 4 I’ve been to. Stunning, expansive views that I cannot believe exist on this earth, much less in our country. There are MANY beautiful places to visit in Utah, but a place that is truly one of a kind… 🧡Bryce Canyon National Park🧡 “Home to the greatest number of hoodoos on Earth” It truly felt like we were on another planet!!! Our favorite trail we hiked: - Queen’s Garden/Navajo Loop Trail: ⏰2-3 hours 🥾2.9 miles roundtrip 📍Start/Descend at Sunrise Point, Ascend at Sunset Point 💥A combination of hoodoos AND canyon walls SAVE for your next trip to Utah, and COMMENT where you plan to go next!🥰 #utah #brycecanyonnationalpark #hiking #hikingtrail #queensgardentrail #navajolooptrail #traveling #roadtrip #nationalparks

We finally made it to Bryce Canyon! After avoiding the cold for a week, we finally made it yesterday for a Mother’s Day hike and it did NOT disappoint! We hiked Navajo Loop to Queen’s Garden trail and we suggest doing the hike counter-clockwise if you want a more gradual ascent coming back up. It’s definitely a place you HAVE to see in person!! #travellife #rvlife #brycecanyon #dixienationalforest #navajolooptrail #queensgardentrail #brycecanyonhikes

#brycecanyon #brycecanyonnationalpark #utah #naturalbridge #walking #walkingtrails #kilroynl #mykilroymoment

🇨🇵Bryce Canyon, wahou quelle claque! 🇺🇲Bryce Canyon, wow what's that! This visit was not planned in our program but we gave it a try and we did well. It's just a "Goooooorgeous" place. The shades of color, the shapes, the immensity, this natural amphitheater... I was speechless, in total admiration of this incredible nature. Throughout this discovery walk, the only words that came out of my mouth were: "wow", "amaaazing", "it's so beautiful", "it's crazy"! My friends, it was really crazy. Road Trip 2023 - Album 5 - Bryce Canyon National park 📍 My 6. National park (Best) On the third day of our trip, we visited probably the most spectacular National park we have seen. (Hike Navajo Loop and Queens Garden Trail) This fascinating place is a spiritual place for the native Indians (Paiute tribe) and a geological unique for others. In the area of this park, we spent the night in a nearby campsite. 🏕️ And since the area around the park is free of light pollution, the stars can be observed perfectly. 🌌 PS: there is a panorama at the end of the album #usa #usatravel #summer2023 #utah #nationalpark #nationalparks #visitutah #visitusa #visitnationalparks #brycecanyon #brycecanyonnationalpark #travel #travelphotography #beautifulplace #naturephotography #naturephotos #brycecanyonutah #queensgardentrail #navajolooptrail

Our retreats guarantee breathtaking views like this. When we stand before something bigger than us, we experience a stirring of our inner landscape. These moments of awe, or those breathtaking instances when we are struck by the vastness, beauty, or wonder of the world around us-- have a profound impact on our brains. Research suggests that experiencing awe can have numerous positive effects on our mental well-being, cognition, and overall brain health. Awe encourages a shift in perspective, reminding us that we are part of something larger than ourselves. This expansion of perception can lead to increased feelings of interconnectedness and empathy. It also boosts positive emotions, and encourages curiosity. It's healthy to step outside and remember how big the world is. You are a part of it. <3

AND IT LOOKED SO NICE TO START THE HIKE It was an absolutely beautiful day at the end of March. The sky was azure and cloudless, the sun warming us even though the air temperature at 7,970 feet (2,430m) was still a little chilly. The trail ahead was dry with scattered mudpuddles and soft spots on this perfect day to hit the Queens Garden-Navajo Loop trails at Bryce Canyon National Park, Bryce, Utah. “Do we really need these trekking poles?” my companion asked. “It just seems like something extra to carry.” “According to the map, it gets steep going out,” I replied, having only the map and some trail information to go on; this being my first time on the three-mile loop trail. “My knees need them coming out. That’s a 500-foot (152m) climb coming out.” I made the rough calculation on the topo map. Grudgingly, she took the trekking poles and we headed down the trail. Despite the cool weather, we still carried two liters of water each for the 90-minute hike. Moving smoothly and dodging puddles heading down the trail, there was little sign of snow. We could see a pretty decent dusting on the Bryce Amphitheater and a few patches along the horse trail. There seemed to be a fair amount on snow in the areas where the sun wasn’t directly hitting the slopes. After paying respects to Queen Victoria on her throne, we left the red rock trail and headed into the Ponderosa Pine forest. The trail became sloppier in the shady areas. “Yuck, I’ve got mud sticking to my treads,” I said trying to scrape it off the bottom of my boot and get rid of the poundage it added to each step. “Looks like we found another use for the trekking poles, too.” Read the full story: https://bit.ly/TollRoadBRCA01 #brycecanyonnationalpark #brycecanyon #bryceutah #nationalparks #hiking #queensgardentrail #navajolooptrail #queensgardennavajoloop

Welp, it took me 3 years, but I finally posted my guide for a 10-day American Southwestern Roadtrip Itinerary featuring Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Sedona and more on the blog 😮‍💨 This trip goes down as one of my all time favorite adventures and it only just scratches the surface of all there is to see in the southwestern desert. You can find the entire itinerary on hikeology-la.com or head to the link in my bio. It’s a lengthy post (I might break them out individually by location eventually), but I had such a blast recounting all the fun memories and beautiful trails we experienced along the way. PS. The Hikeology website is suuuper outdated (it’s officially 10 years old 😬) so I am making it a goal in 2024 to get that site up to speed and update it more consistently 🙌 1. My next favorite trail of 2023 is the Navajo Loop and Queen's Garden Trail in Bryce Canyon National Park! We took the trail counterclockwise as the way out of the canyon is less steep. Once down into the canyon, you get to weave through the hoodoos! This is absolutely stunning! It was a fantastic hike with beautiful views! I would recommend wearing layers on this hike. It tends to be windy at the top of the canyon as the elevation is around 8,000 feet. As you get down into the canyon, it is a lot easier to take off layers if needed than put on layers. This hike, as with the last one, is not only a 2023 favorite hike but also an all-time favorite for me!
