This has been a really hard season for @jrodshow44 Today, before the game, I bought a Julio Rodriguez jersey. I told the girl who sold me the jersey that I was going to support my favorite player even though he hadn't hit a single hone run this year at T-mobile Park. After buying the jersey, I told her that Julio was going to hit his first home run @tmobilepark this year. Guess what? I even called my mom and told her that I got a Julio jersey and that I predicted that he would hit his first home run of the season at T-mobile parm. Guess what? Julio hit a home run. Believe in people when they are down. Faith and perseverance always pay off. Don't give up! Keep trying. You may strike out a lot of times in life, but if you never give up, your big day will come. Keep trying. Never give up. Your moment is coming. Today, I went to the ball game. I didn't bring anyone with me. I have been spending my life praying for and waiting for a significant other to come along. For many years, I have let the fact that I am single keep me from going to the places I want to go and do the things I want to do. I have decided I am not waiting to live my life. I am going to treat myself like royalty. I am a prince. I am going to see my value through God's eyes. I am taking myself on dates and treating myself the way I deserve to be treated. I may have struck out many times in my life. But I am not going to let that keep me from living my life. I am living a good life. I am choosing to go on amazing adventures. Even if I have to do it single. I won't regret making memories and being happy. But I would regret if I waited my whole life for someone to come along and, as a result, never chose to live my dreams. I am blessed to have a team of people who pray for me every single day. Many pastors are doing ministry without the blessing of the support of the people they serve. If you're spending time complaining and being negative towards your pastor and telling people you wish you had a better pastor, then pray for the one you have. When we pray for the people God has placed in our life, then the creator of the universe is empowered through our intercession to not only change the person we are praying for but also to change us. Gossip and slander are very damaging, and they are an abomination to God. If you're criticizing and attacking the one God sent to serve you, is it then possible that you need God to change you as much, if not more, than the person you are putting down? My appeal. Pray more and stop criticizing. People who are struggling don't need to be kicked while they are down. Love your pastor as you would like your pastor to love you. You will find that it will change their life and yours. Amen P.S. I am not writing this only for my benefit. I am writing ✍️ it on behalf of my colleagues. My life is amazing, and I have 100s if not thousands who pray for me every day. Forgiveness of Sin and Healing are the same. When Jesus forgave the sick of sin they were not only Spiritually healed but also physically. I am praying for and thanking God for the forgiveness of my sins and the healing of both my spirit and my body. The only condition is that we pray according to God's will. I have several prayer requests I want to pray by faith tonight. Then I am going to thank Him for answering my prayers according to His will. 1. Lord, I ask that day by day you will baptize me anew with the Holy Spirit. 2. Lord, I ask you to give me the strength to do your will. Empower me to live out the calling you have given me. 3. Lord, I am repenting of sin and confessing my need for you. 4. Lord, I pray for Complete Spiritual and Physical healing. 5. Lord, I pray that you would provide for me a wife that will not only be my life partner but also my best friend. I pray she will have the calling, mantle, and anointing to journey together with me to do your will. I am trusting you God to reveal the woman you would choose for me and to also place love in my heart for her. I want your will to be done in this area of my life. Give me wisdom Lord. 6. Lastly Lord I want to thank you and praise you for hearing and answering my prayer according to your will. Let the celebration begin. I am forgiven. The #dawithda challenge inspired me to start a reading challenge of my own in 2023. Thank you @davidasscherick I decided originally that I wanted to do the Bible in a Year Reading Challenge which happened in 2022. At some point during 2022 I decided I wanted to do a sermon series that covers all of the major themes of the Bible. But this left me with the question of how to do it. I talked to Mark from @typesandsymbols and he suggested a book. The book is called "Correlated Bible Readings. It has three systematic Bible Study Plans that also include the readings from The Conflict Series and Steps to Christ, Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, and Christ Object Lessons. In 2023 I am starting the 4-year plan. The goal is to not only do the readings but then create sermons based on the readings that cover all the major stories and themes of the entire Bible. I realize that this is an insane amount of reading and studying and sermon writing. I realize that such a plan could only come to fruition with God's power and strength helping me. I plan to start the readings and the sermons in February of 2023. When I was a little boy, I dreamed of being a World Evangelist. 🌎 December 29th through January 8th, I am here living that dream in Western Australia. Preaching for the Shalem Youth Camp 2022-2023 is a dream come true. Working with Pastor Jeff Youlden is so exciting. He has worked as an Evangelist all over Australia 🇦🇺 for well over 20 years. Working with him is such a blessing. I am learning a lot. Thank you, all of you who have been praying for me over the years. Without you, my dream would have never come true. Many of you tell me that I have already been a world evangelist for many years. Yes, I have done a lot of online ministry and preaching over the years and even some international speaking. Thank you everyone who has been praying for me. Big break through happened tonight. God has answered our prayers. My road to full healing and recovery are now more clear then it has been in a year and a half. We have ruled out some of the potential life altering diagnosis and are now very close to having a good idea of what I need to do to have the prognosis we have all been praying for. The Bible says, "Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." (Proverbs 3:6 NLT) Last night we prayed and I went to the ER. They ordered all of the tests I needed in order to get into a specialist and get answers. These tests ruled out some of the bigger fears. I had been trying to get to this point for a year and a half. When all of us came together in prayer God moved and answered. Please continue to pray with me until we are completely out of the woods and I am back to 100% God has a plan for my life. He isn't done with me yet. He is teaching me faith in the valley's and in uncertain moments. I am praising God for this trial because it is teaching me total reliance on Him. It's October 23rd. I think I have slept in my own bed 5 times this month. From the Vision Summit @mivoden to doing Week of Prayer at @ourccalife to a Mens Retreat at Emigrant Springs National Park. This month has been filled with many amazing Ministry experiences and opportunities. I must admit sometimes it is lonely out here on the road but the thing I love most is all of the time I have spent going on adventures with Jesus. When I was a little boy I dreamed about being a World Evangelist. Now after all these years one moment, one person, one event at a time, Jesus and I together are living out that dream. It is so important to see yourself through God's eyes rather than listening to Satan's lies. When we listen to devils lies about us, we end up also seeing others through a clouded lens. When we see ourselves through God's eyes we empowered to see others through the lens of God's love too. When we allow that devil to lie to us about our own value, we end up hurting others too. Low self esteem and pride both make us a target for the enemy and can even make us a tool in his hand. Let's pray for each other that God will help us see ourselves and others through His eyes and protect us from the devils lies. Let's pray that God will help us to stay right sized in our view of ourselves and others. This keeps us safe from the devils attacks and also keeps us from being used by the devil to hurt others. The Bible is full of promises. "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need." (Matthew 6:33 NLT) It's hard to trust God even in our moments of trial and need. Lord I believe you will provide for my every need as I seek you first but please help my unbelief. Help me to trust you with everything in my life. Help me to trust that you are going to provide for all of the desires of my heart. Amen Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:6 NLT) Lord I am often not very patient. Please help me to be still and wait on your wisdom. You have promised that as I acknowledge you in all my ways that you will give me wisdom. You will show me which path to take. Please Lord help me to learn to wait on you. Lord I believe but help my unbelief. Help me to wait for your answer instead of making decisions in haste. What promise in the Bible do you want to claim today? Is there a promise you want God to keep? Is there a promise you're struggling to believe. Join me in praying this prayer today. "Lord, I believe in your (Promise) but help though my unbelief. This prayer is important because God cannot give us what He has promised unless we give our lives to Him. We cannot insist on being selfishly in control if we are going to give our lives to God and trust that He will keep His promise to provide all we need. When we cry out to God for help, we then must believe He is able and let Him help. Resist the do it yourself after asking God for help temptation. Lord I believe but save me from my unbelief. Don't let fear hold you back. Take the leap of faith. You won't regret it when you're living the life God wants to give you. Satan will always try to discourage you. He will place fears in your mind. Quit looking back, you're not going that way. Look forward. Acknowledge God in all of your ways and when He shows you which path to take, start moving. God's plan and purpose for you is good. I spend my life traveling from place to place telling people stories about miracles that have happened to me and others that I have met along the way. Every once in a while someone will ask me "why do so many miracles happen in your life?" When I gave my life to God in 2005, I started asking people to pray for me everywhere I went. For eighteen years now I have been telling people stories about the miracles God has done in my life and in the life of others. I have a lot of stories now. Getting all of our young people together for @dairyqueen and a prayer of blessing to kick off the new year was a lot of fun. We got ice cream and walked to Roy Raley Park where I gave a blessing from scripture and a prayer for our young people who are going back to school. We had young people kindergarten through college. Here is the blessing. "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace." (Numbers 6:24-26 ESV) Have I mentioned recently how much I love my job? God Bless one and all as we go back to School. I am praying for all of you. After posting on grief and being honest about the loss and sadness in my life, many reached out to ask if I am ok. I want all of you to know that I am ok. I am struggling because of the amount of loss, disappointment and grief I have suffered lately. However God is with me and I have all of you praying for me. Thank you for all of the love and support. I feel truly loved! Up until now everything in my life has been accomplished through God's miracles on my behalf. Not because I deserve to be blessed and anointed based on my own works but instead I have believed God's promises and it has been counted unto me as Righteousness. Please keep praying for me. As the Youth and Young Adult Revival came to a close an appeal was made. All who want to be part of preaching the gospel of the Kingdom into all the world, join Pastor Farr at the front and let's pray for him and commit to joining him in following Jesus. We had a special prayer for the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit. For all to be baptized with the Holy Spirit and that God will empower us to preach the gospel of His Kingdom into all the world. What started as a spark 8 days ago has become a fire. Watch out world the Youth and Young Adults at the @cpvillagechurch have allowed God to use them this week to start a revival. It has only begun. As I continue to speak here in College Place at the Village Church each night at 7PM, every night the crowd keeps growing. I love Youth and Young Adult Revival Meetings. We are having so much fun, we decided to invite people of all ages to become like children and join us. So young and old come tonight. We will be having meetings tonight through July 30th at 7PM. We had so many people last night that if any more come we will have to move from the youth chapel to the Village Church Sanctuary. This is a great problem to have! With only four nights left don't wait any longer, come tonight and bring a friend. Please keep praying for me and for all who are attending in person and online via the Facebook livestream. If your ministry, business or organization works harder to keep people out than it does to invite people to come in, you're not promoting God's Kingdom, you're promoting man's kingdom. The Kingdom of God is not Babylon with a Jesus bumper sticker slapped on it! His Kingdom is built on Christ the Cornerstone! His Kingdom is open to all who turn from sin and believe on Him. Jesus is all about saving and including! He gave His life for all of the people we have cancled or kept out of the places we call His Church! Remember God's House, His Kingdom, His Church is a House of Prayer for all people! Let that sink in! God's Kingdom has a table with enough seats at the table for everyone! Spend time praying and praising God for all the blessings and miracles He is doing in your life. Prayer, praise and devotion to God's Word keeps worry away! I also recommend journaling all the answers to prayer and miracles that happen in your life. When tempted to worry read the journal and remind yourself of all of the ways God has provided in the past. “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. And pray for me, too.
