🔟 National Park Road Trips from Portland Oregon! To celebrate Earth Day and National Park Week, we are sharing 10 National Park Roadtrips that we took pulling our trailer on PTO/vacation days, with Portland as the starting point. 📷 1 and 2: Crater Lake National Park: its about 250 miles from Portland and takes about 5:30h to get there. We stayed in a Sno-Park near by for free. 📷 3: Mt Rainier National Park: 138 miles from Portland and 2:30h drive. We have stayed in Mossyrock State Park once which is about 1h away from the park entrance and also in an airbnb in Packwood. 📷4: Olympic National Park (Lake Crescent): 252 miles and 4:30h drive from Portland. We like to stay in Crescent Beach RV park. 📷5: Yosemite National Park: 725 miles and 11:30h drive from Portland. For this, we drove our trailer to Lake Tahoe and took a car and tent trip from Lake Tahoe to Yosemite. 📷6: Glacier National Park: 624 miles and 9:30h drive from Portland. We stayed at KOA near Whitefish. We did this as part of a 2 week road trip that included Yellowstone and Grand Teton in the itinerary. 📷7: Grand Teton National Park: 801 miles and 12h drive from Portland. We stayed at @tetonpeaksresort. 📷8: Yellowstone National Park: 815 miles and 12h drive from Portland. 📷9: Redwoods National Park: 400 miles and 5:30h from Portland. We stayed at Mystic Forest RV Park in Klamath, CA. 📷10: Bryce Canyon National Park: 1.032 miles from Portland and 15h drive. For this trip, we stopped twice overnight and in Bryce we stayed at Bryce Village RV Park. When we drive to anywhere that takes more than 5h we tend to stop for the night and continue the trip on the next day.
