Update for #operationusewhatisopen I am slowww going with this stuff but I just finished my third item since my last update so it's time for some new stuff. I finished off the lotion, shower gel, and body mist. I am getting so tired of the huge perfume I originally picked out for this so I'm swapping it for a mini perfume that I'm much closer to finishing to get some turn and burn going, and I have a matching lotion so I can really go hard on that until it's used up I think. I'm throwing in my last body wash, a mostly used up scrub, and a body mist. I forgot to photograph my pumpkin hand cream but I'm keeping it in the project still, it's almost ready to be cut. I'm going to try to be a lot better about updating this project, I've got multiple things in it that are now a lot closer to being finished so hopefully that'll get things moving. I also think I need to swap out scents if needed because I want to wear specific scents at specific times and if I miss the boat on one of my choices I just need to move on to something else I'm more excited to use.

I already managed to buy this micellar water, if you follow my blog a little 😅 The liquid soap is ok, but has a too sweet smell. However, absolutely everyone liked him except me. My husband likes Avon shampoo. In fact, I can't remember which count the empty bottle is. The soap in the white packaging has a very strong fresh scent, I don't think I will buy it again. Beginning of the year #operationusewhatisopen update and inventory. Since my last update I finished the sweat pea body spray and the jergens gradual tan lotion and I'm adding in a winter candy apply room spray and sweet cinnamon pumpkin hand cream. I'm getting very close to finishing several of these but the new additions as well as the perfume and sleep spray are long haul items. I went through and did an inventory of all my perfumes and lotions to get an idea of which items I want to use up this year so I have a game plan moving forward. At this time I have 13 full size perfumes, 18 minis, and 55 samples. I have 8 full size mists and 4 minis. I have 8 full size lotions and 5 minis as well as 3 hand creams. I also have 3 body powders. I really want to focus on using up full size items across the board and I want to get my samples waaay down.

January Project Use It Up #operationusewhatisopen I decided to do something a little different this month. Usually I try to select about 4 sets each month to add. But it becomes overwhelming and a little redundant. I go through body scrubs and body washes faster than anything else so I will be alternating how I use up my products. Only adding what’s missing from my current use it up stash. Still focusing on about 6-7 leftover combos from 2023 before I add any more mists or lotions.

Finally jumping in on #operationusewhatisopen for October! I love following this project and even though I don't have a huge collection of body care type items I should be giving what I do have more love and attention and try to move some old stuff OUT. I'm startingwith 8 different things and I fully believe I can finish 4 or 5 but I want to see substantial progress on everything. I don't think anything in this photo is newer than 2019. The pillow spray is a weird item but I'm throwing it in anyway because I think of lotions and fragrances as a ritual and this would fit in with that nicely.
