Nordic Queen in Fur I don’t think we will ever see another Queen who understands costume the way Queen Margrethe always has, she has brought an element of drama to her clothing and dresses like a “Winter Queen.” Here arriving at the last New Year’s Reception for the Diplomatic Corps of her reign. She wore a sleek burgundy 2 piece suit with black velvet collar and cuffs and added pieces of her pearl parure. To brave the cold she wore a full length fur coat with a high collar (it would be vintage) she also wore flat, comfortable shoes and used her walking stick. As a concession to her back problems she remained seated to greet most of her guests. Parempaan sijaan ei olisi ollut mahdollisuuksia, kun sai tiloja niin myöhään ja voittaja oli lähtenyt jo karkumatkalle. Perjantaina Leija oli Härmässä Nordic Queenissa hienosti viides omalla ennätyksellään 22,4 eli yhden kymmenyksen parantui aika. Juoksunkulku ei ollut ihan optimaalisin, joten oltiin Leijaan oikein tyytyväisiä. Tietenkin valmentaja oli haaveillut paremmasta sijasta 😉😄 Mutta lähtöpaikan ja juoksunkulun huomioiden sijoitus oli hyvä. Leija lähti tosi hienosti auton perästä ja painoi aikalailla lähdössä, joka vei vähän turhaan Leijan voimia. Jukka ajoi todella hienosti Leijalla, kiitos siitä! Nyt Leija saa ottaa viikon rennommin ja mietitään vielä vähän, mihin starttiin mennään ennen kunkkareita. Toiveissa on siis päästä kunkkereihin eli sormet ja varpaat pystyyn, että Leija pysyy loppuun asti kunnossa 👍Vivakalla on viikon päästä tiistaina Forssassa startti. Toivotaan, että se menee myös hyvin.
