I hope y’all had a great weekend! Our little family spent Memorial Day weekend with friends camping! 🏕️ We had no cell service, which was amazing! Lo made it her mission to jump in every puddle she saw👏🏻 🌈On weekends when you don’t make/create lessons or activities for your kiddos- just remember; they’re learning every day in everything you do! 🏕️we camped in a tent for a few days & did nothing “educational”. But what really happened: •she learned to be flexible (planning with another family + watching the weather to see what we could play) •sensory play while she played in the rain, puddles, grass •gross motor skills- jumping, running, climbing, balancing on/over roots, climbing tree stumps •language- practicing sentences, new words •science- talked about the weather, different bugs we saw, different plants •social skills- worked on playing with others, including others in activities, using our manners, using our words when we are upset/don’t like something & I’m sure SO MUCH MORE but my brain needs a nap 😂 parents really never relax on vacation, right?😂😴 🇺🇸I hope yall had a good weekend, too! All though the site is constantly submerged in water and mud at the moment. This did not deter our water warriors.
