Life has been incredibly busy for us recently (with some exciting things on the horizon), and I haven’t really found the time to do the one thing that makes me the happiest which is watching the sunrise. Whether that’s me not prioritising some well needed self care time or just being caught up in the everyday routine that it’s not seemed to be something I needed to focus on, which kinda sucks. However an unexpected early morning has meant that I have been able to enjoy this gorgeous May sunrise, all on my own, with only the sounds of the birds waking up all around me. I didn’t even have my music playing because I just wanted to be present in the moment and really absorb where I was. Enjoying every moment of it before my day starts. As I’m writing this, it’s made me realise how important it truly is to continue making time for the things you enjoy most even when life seems busier than ever. I feel on top of the world and I haven’t even made it back home yet. I’m just still sitting here, listening, admiring and being present. Sometimes 15 minutes to yourself is more of a need than a want, and you deserve to find those 15 minutes.
