This world is so so crazy… and I don’t even feel the need to say “right now” Because I think this world has always been and will be so, so crazy…. And if I’m being honest there are days when this whole learning to be at peace and home in our bodies thing feels so stupid, so trivial, so trite…especially in comparison to things like extreme poverty, displacement due to war, and famine…. And if loathing myself or suffering to any degree could fix these issues…or really any global issues at all… I’d be the first to cut myself wide open and bleed out But it just doesn’t, because trust when I say….ive tried… I’ve honestly no answers on how to heal our collective suffering, but I do know joy matters, our internal peace matters… and these things GREATLY impact the ripples we put out into the world, no matter how far those ripples may, or may not, reach… And what i also know is… being at home in my body, honoring my body with movement and nourishment and my thoughts, and being playful and silly (which I strayed so far from these past few years) in my body are things that bring me joy…and as someone who spends a RIDICULOUS amount of time in her head, this all brings me peace… I’ve also found this path is ever changing… I’m currently in a space where I’m absolutely LOVING time spent in the kitchen creating delicious food that nourish…and further healing my relationship with food and my deep seeded belief we have to suffer, and sacrifice, to create a healthy body… I’m working hard to honor my aging body… though she’s strong and powerful and beautiful…she’s definitely aging…and that’s okay ❤️ And im working hard to feel fun and playful once again in my body…… and I just love a booty pic after leg day (for a million reasons )❤️ completely and utterly pointless….
